• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Your opinions on Upgrades for comfort

Things you don't already have On my 08 I really appreciate my floorboards,(made them myself) but I would not get commercially available floorboards if they are the kind that make you give up your foot pegs, then you are back to only one leg position all the time. I'd get highway pegs if I...

    Creaking noise from front sprocket

Another number My bulletin said 85 ft/lb. I used check it at every other oil change when I was under warranty and changing oil at 3K mile intervals. Now that I am out of warranty I don't drain the full synthetic that I use until it has 5K miles on it, so I check the torque at every oil...

    Kumho Ecsta AST Tire Question

GS not RT; but I guess I will be the contrarian here. I am on my third Kumho rear tire, so obviously I think they are a good choice for quality versus price. I am very happy with the mileage. I do however feel that they are Not as good on wet weather only traction as the Kenda. Dry traction...

    Pull Behind Trailers

Mileage change Put on the big barn door "CHAD" windshield which is no longer available. It is 27 in. wide and 25 in. tall. It can cut my mileage by about 2 mpg. It has an adjustable mount which I further modified so that it is almost as adjustable as the MAD STADD windshield mount. If I...

    Pull Behind Trailers

I've been pulling a trailer of similar size to the BRP offered trailer since I got my PE Spyder. It has almost no effect on gas mileage, even when fully loaded. Changing to a larger windshield is the only thing that has lowered my my mileage by anything that was significant and repeatedly...

Help from the Spyder collective consciousness please

I have been wanting to do something for a while, but I have not had the time to research it. Hopefully one of my fellow Spyder riders has already figured it out and is willing to share their wisdom. I want to stream Pandora or similar music service while riding. My wife and I have a set of...
