• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    USB Power Supply with Mount

I was surprised how mush water gets to the dash when it is really pouring. I replaced the gauges with power plugs but they have a rubber cover, so they didn't get water in them, as I pulled what I had plugged into them and closed the covers. That solved that problem and the GPS, radar det. and...

Oregon Rider Wins $180,170 Court Case

Chicago PD dept. just was charged with violating civil rights over many years. Watch for some cleanup. This would have been in the early 80's, I'm at a Blackjack table at Circus Circus and 4 burly guys sat down and it was obvious that they were all drunk, but one was really toasted. He had a...

    That'll kill you . . . .

If you notice he didn't peck anything when he vanished. And before he was pecking the top of the pole, so something is faked. You have to become the conduit to ground or another voltage level, i.e. 220 to 110 or either to ground. We have squirrels all the time get between two terminals on a...

    Wondering about a fl dealer

IMO it appears that you will have problems finding a Ride Now dealership that is good/fair/competent. The are all owned by the same guy. From my experience here, they could care less about Can AM or its products. They have no customer appreciation attitude. Here most Spyder owners drag their...

    new scam

Here is another reality. When people forward emails and leave everyone's email address in the email, the spammers or worse, finally end up with these. Therefore they now have links between friends. AND they send their emails "from" your friend with spam or a virus included. Usually, these...

    Hacked for the Holy days

Ann, you are right in what Lifelock does, but I think that you pay $10 a month and Credit Karma, does the same thing for Free. CK even gives you a monthly update on your FICO score, which is what many charges/interest rates/insurance rates are based on. So its good to know that number. CK...

    GPS Choice

If you buy any used Garmin, sit right there and have them log into their Garmin account and change the login info to your email and password. If you don't you will not have lifetime maps which comes with all Garmins now.

Do we have anyone doing 3D printing?

I lucked out, a friend of mine had a Robox and I watched it work etc, and on Black Friday it was less than half price $507 vs $12-$1300. It truly is a plug and play unit, I was printing within 15-20 minutes of unboxing it. The Prusa has great reviews. A heated, auto leveling bed IMO is a...

    Hacked for the Holy days

Legally the banks do not have to make good on your debt card thefts. For the most part they are making people hold, but I had a friend that was a moron, and got hacked a couple times, the bank quit refunding the loss. My understanding is that if a merchant is not using the chip validation...

Do we have anyone doing 3D printing?

I have a CNC router which I bought a few months ago and haven't done much with it yet and I don't have a clue. I am going to the local college to learn the software, so I anticipate making great things soon. While I was looking around I decided to buy a 3D printer of course not having a clue...

    Hacked for the Holy days

In my opinion LIFELOCK is a ripoff. Credit Karma (.com) is free and solves the problem. (you also get your FICO score every month) Regulation Z protects you from all charges except $50, which so far no company has charged you. One good thing with a hack, is that you get a 7 year fraud alert...

    Beware of scam re Facebook

I'm getting text that say, I need Help, and it gives a tinybit link to click on. Also, I get text that says you have a message at Craigslist and a link. Pay attention, and click on no links from anyone until you verify it with the sender. All of the emails that include everyone's name are...

    VALVOLINE FULL SYNTHETIC ON SALE

I think that we have all figured out that you have a problem with Mike, BUT IMO your childish comments within his Thread doesn't show me much about you, as a person. Speaking of this thread only, all he is doing is letting people know that Walmart has oil on sale. What he does with it or...

Rivco aluminum bumpskid vs Spyderpops bumpskid

I've seen 2 results of impacts with the Spyerpop's unit. Both IMO were low less than 5mph impacts and it really messed up all of the connections to the bike. I have one and wouldn't ride without one. I would agree that if you are able to get over whatever you impact, the results will be a lot...

Custom Reverse Trike - From A Spyder!

I doubt if they are getting their money back, unless they bought a wreck to start with. Mike's right about the steel, maybe they couldn't weld aluminum.
