• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

My new RLS Torpedo exhaust arrived yesterday. Installed it last night. Really like the look of it and the sound is great. I've got to say that the BRP engineers that installed the OEM muffler with a healthy dose of orange locktite should give that another thought. Real wrestling match to remove...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Removed old front sprocket and replaced with a new white sprocket from Cheap Motorcycle Parts. Sure glad I had a gear puller because that old sprocket was not coming off without it. Lots of rust on the splines that was not so apparent on the outside of the old sprocket. Removed the old sprocket...

Looking for some wheel alignment data & feed back?

I got my 2019 RTL aligned at LaMonster garage in Nixa, Mo. No readout available but they told me what it was and what changes they made. I don't care what anyone says, brand new from the factory or used, the Spyder will be an entirely different machine after a proper Lazer alignment. Money well...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Just received delivery of my new white front sprocket and bolt from Cheap Cycle parts. Now to install it. Replacing the original sprocket not because it failed but there is some rust showing and I wanted to be pro-active. Surprised as to how heavy that sprocket is, it weighs a bunch for such a...

F3 Valve stems too short for TPMS! Help!!

I have an RT and the valve stems are very short on it also and I thought they wouldn't work, but with determination I was able to screw on the FOBO sensors without a problem. Are you sure they won't work? The short stems with the FOBO sensors is certainly safer than having the sensors hanging...

Hello all. i need help with getting a directory started for stranded riders

I previously rode a Kawasaki Concours and the owners association published a little pamphlet each year with all members names, addresses and phone numbers along with what they were willing and able to provide for assistance. It was organized by state and city and quite easy to use. I never had...

    Shout out to LaMonster Garage

:2thumbs: I have chimed in on this subject before. My experience at Lamonster Garage was just exceptional. Can't say enough about their service, expertise and customer satisfaction. Best there is in my opinion.

    Share your mouse repellent ideas

Spyder lives in my heated garage with our two daily drivers. I have four barn cats that come and go from the garage through a pet door. Haven't seen a live mouse for years, but I know the cats are working because I will occasionally have a dead mouse present at the garage door to the house.

Need a Seat Strut with more lift - any suggestions?

Nightcruiser - can you provide information as to model number on the Stabilus strut that you photographed? That would be helpful. Thank you.

Do 2020 and newer models handle rough roads better?

My response to Pooch. I thought I was the only one that noticed the lack of posts that were responsive to my question. Thank you. I guess 2 out of 13 on point, isn't all that bad.

Do 2020 and newer models handle rough roads better?

My question isn't about how to handle the RT as I don't have any problems with it's handling. My Spyder is a 2019 RTL SE6. The roads we were riding this weekend in Oklahoma were rough and uneven. Control was not the problem. It was that the rough pavement was beating me up on the bike and I was...

Do 2020 and newer models handle rough roads better?

I am just finishing a four day ride to Arkansas and Oklahoma. Posted separately about the ride in the appropriate forum. My question here is whether or not the 2020 and newer models of the RTL handle the rough and uneven roads better. My bike(2019 RTL SE6)has the new Kanine tires and has been...

    Arkansas Ride

It seems as if no one ever posts about the great roads in Arkansas so I thought I would do just that. Just finishing up my fall ride to Arkansas and the roads are great. Rode Highways 23,21,74,16,10 and 71 in Arkansas, Highway 1 in Oklahoma and Highway 88 in Arkansas(commonly referred to as...

A Shout Out for Lamonster Garage

Two or more thumbs up for your comments about LaMonster Garage. I stopped by there this spring and had a bunch of work done in amazingly short time. This was when LaMont was in the hospital but no break in the good service and reasonable price. They are the greatest. I just wish they weren't a 6...

Need a Seat Strut with more lift - any suggestions?

I installed an Ultimate Seat and the OEM Seat Strut will not hold up the seat when I raise it. Any suggestions as to where to purchase a replacement strut that will have a little more lift to it?

    Pass through gas cap

I have installed a fuel door on my 2019 RT Ultimate seat but then realized that removing the gas cap through the door is a pain and nearly impossible. I became aware of the Hagen pass through cap on this forum and ordered one. The web site states that the cap is vented for vacuum and "can be...

which was your most spectacular tour ??

Being from the middle of the country, our favorite destination is Arkansas and Missouri. We have been the the Tail of the Dragon and Blue Ridge Parkway but it is a long ride just to get to the good riding. Frankly I think that highways 7, 16,21 and 23 in Arkansas rival or exceed either of those...

    Comfort / Ergonomics for 6'01" 32" inseam 300lb rider on 19 - 21 RTL?

I am 6'1" and 175 pounds with a 32 inch inseam. So I'm your height but substantially less weight. I have a 2019 RTL and find it very comfortable for long days. I don't know how much your added weight will change your comfort level. I don't find the bike crowded at all. Bartender

Monster fuel stage 1 or stage 2

I drive a 2019 RTL SE6 which has the 1330 motor. I came to the Spyder from a Kawasaki C1400 which is a relatively high performance sport touring bike and ride aggressively. I am considering having either stage 1 or stage 2 Monster reflash on the ECU. Just wondering if any of you who have flashed...

Anybody used regular gas in the spyder RT? Any performance loss?

I have a 2019 RTL SE6 with 21,000 miles. It has the 1330 triple engine. I ran 87 octane in it once and could detect pinging. Since then I have always run the highest rated gas I can purchase, usually 91 octane because 93 octane is not ordinarily available in this part of the country. The...
