• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Who has the best foot Floorboards?

When I look twice now, yeah it kinda does. I'll tell you though after actually seeing the floorboards that thought never occurred to me. I'll still be ordering a set. :2thumbs:

    TRUNK LIGHT...revised

Nice. Way better than what I have in mind. I was just gonna put a tap light on the trunk lid with some 3m tape.

Who has the best foot Floorboards?

No the ISC actually had an excellent position when it comes to the brake pedal. I was quite impressed when I sat on their Spyder. As for the shifter yes the SM5 would probably be best with a shifter extension, which I believe the ISC guys were working on as well.

    Laying low for a bit

    Quick mileage update...

Well I've averaged 30 - 31 mpg for the entire 10,000 miles I've put on mine so I don't harbor any hopes of seeing a drastic improvement anytime soon. I have managed to get as high as 38 mpg's but that was traveling much to slow for my taste so that won't be happening again. If you really want a...

    Spyder Luggage

First time I've heard that. If it's true I'll be looking forward to seeing them. Of course if the price is even close to Givi's I'd stay with the Givi. I've used Givi on several different bikes including my Spyder and they can't be beat for quality.

    Really Disappointed

Have you tried going to a locksmith? They should be able to cut it for you.

    Spyder, reputation for unreliability?

Actually I'm a veteran rider and have had issues with the Spyder. Personally as an experienced rider I expect more reliability from my bikes than what I think folks who are just getting started or who are only weekend riders do. With the amount of miles I put on in a year I expect my...

Who has the best foot Floorboards?

I sat on the Spyder that had teh ISC floorboards. They're very nice and quite sturdy feeling as fell. They have plenty of spce to move your feet around on also. Not sure about riding the brake though, I never leave my foot resting on the brake pedal.

    Stallion Trike...

There's a dealership that has them on Beach St in Daytona. I've seen one of the road a few times down in the area where I live. The thing seems to move pretty well through the twisties.

    Daytona Tommorrow

Well there's the BRP tent at the speedway and then go up to Destination Daytona and see Magic Man (No Magic Neon). If you're around on Saturday go down to the Hess station just west of the speedway and you'll find a bunch of Spyder at 11 am that are meeting up.

Who has the best foot Floorboards?

+1:agree:, these floorboards are definitely worth the wait until they've got them available.

    Givi & hitch?

The hitch and the Givi bags won't work together. I've got the Givi bags and Forest who rode with me in Daytona has a trailer hitch. Looking at the two side by side there's noway the two would work together, the racks would lack about 1/2" to 1" of clearance over the hitch frame.

    F1 Evo III slider

Knowing the Marcel doesn't exactly run a huge business I would assume that they're busy in Daytona this week and that you probably won't be able to place an order until next week.

    Spyder, reputation for unreliability?

I guess that would be a matter of opinion. I know a lot of folks say that first years have bugs that need to be worked out. I subscribe to that theory to a degree, at some point though I would say that my issues have driven me past the point of calling these bugs. If the Spyder were a normal...

    Spyder, reputation for unreliability?

Well considering in less than 9,000 miles I've had an exhaust gasket go, a relay, the battery corroded, head gaskets leaking, a bad spark plug wire, and now my steering has started acting weird. I'd have to agree that perhaps there is the potential for them to be unreliable.

    Exhaust Gasket

Most of the bad gaskets are at the header pipe. Seems like it's the right side more than the left. Mine was fried at 2,000 miles.
