• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Breckenridge, CO part 1

Doug planned out a day trip to Aspen for us. Both Lisa and Carol are professors at a local community college and Lisa had some online business to take care of so she did not join us this day. Carol is ready to go! I cannot remember the road designation but it provided wonderful scenery. It...

    Breckenridge, CO part 1

Mid-September was a great time to visit Breckenridge. It was a "tweener" time. The summer crowds were gone and the snow season had not started so there were no crowds and we could just walk into any restaurant without a reservation. We stayed in a time share that Doug and Lisa have owned for...

    Breckenridge, CO part 1

We spent the first night in Goodland, KS. Every small town seems to have things they are proud of. One item in Goodland is a huge replica of Van Gough's "Sunflower". A scenic site at a Visitor's Center in Colorado provided an opportunity to change gear and stretch our legs. We made it...

    Breckenridge, CO part 1

Since this forum has just been added I thought I would add something to get it started. I'll add it in several separate posts to make it easier to upload and read. And, to correct any mistakes I make along the way since this is new to me. A little background, first. I bought my 2013 Spyder...

New Forum suggestion - Ride Reports

I am suggesting a new forum for "Ride Reports". This would be a forum for members to share their rides and pictures with the rest of us. There is a "Spyder Rides and Events" forum but they are all about Spyder Gatherings, not about specific ride experiences. With spring on our doorstep I know...

    Maximizing 2020 RTL trunk

I was looking at the Hopnel saddlebags since their measurements seemed to fit. Thanks for checking that out, Arion. I know they are not the most sturdy of bags so I am open to other suggestions.

    Maximizing 2020 RTL trunk

I am planning some summer trips on my 2020 RTL. Does anyone have a good lead on luggage that will fit the new trunk? So far, I've thought of 2 soft sided saddlebag liners so my wife and I can each use the space. Any other suggestions?

I saw the ad for the Ryker aimed at the younger crowd on BattleBots. (END GAME!)

Will rider backrest help with pain between shoulder blades?

Many riders have this issue with the new RT, myself included. I have a backrest but what seemed to make a big difference for me was installing Lamonsgter's handlebar risers. I debated back and forth about which modification to try to move the handlebars back towards me but decided on the...

    F3T vs F3T-limited

Since you mentioned your wife, I would consider the limited with the top case. It will allow you to expand your usage as you gain more experience riding. Some reasons are mentioned above but your wife can take an extra jacket , you can run some errands with it. Maybe take a weekend trip...

Advice please on 2021 RT options

I bought a 2020 RTL last fall and I'm looking forward to my first long distance trip on my new machine. I owned a 2013 RT-S for six years and did several long distance trips on it. While there are a few modifications I would suggest for the machine I would put an Intercom system near the top...

Any 3rd party armrests near release?

I was hoping a 3rd party vendor would have some 2020+ passenger armrests ready to go by this spring. I told my riding partner I would get her some by the spring riding season but it's going to hurt if I have to buy them from BRP. I've read on this site about seats nearing release by vendors...

Wingding, Lamonster, Arkansas Pigtail... ride suggestions?!

I don't have extensive experience on the roads in Arkansas but I did ride the Pig Trail a few years back. For that road, I stayed in Branson. The next morning I took 65 South to 86 West which is just a couple miles north of the Arkansas border. Take 86 west until you come to a small...

Anyone seen the 2021 Sea To Sky yet?

This discussion reminds me of the special series Anniversary model that came out with black and gold coloring. I don't see many of these on the market so I wonder if they sold very well. Marketing was different, too I believe. Didn't they have to be special ordered? No direct shipping to...

    teardrop camper

I have not seen this pull behind camper previously discussed. It is made in Canada and is under the 400 pound towing weight limit for the Spyder. Be sure to change the text to English if you don' understand French. https://microroulotte.com/

2020 rt limited. Need a cup holder for the rear passenger

I bought a passenger drink holder from Lamonster. It clips to the handrail and has a USB charging port. I ran the cable up behind the rear back seat, drilled a hole into the trunk and now have access to the USB port in the trunk. My wife can now talk all day.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Took all of ten minutes to install Lamonster's handlebar riser on my 2020 RTL. I was able to ride for about 30 minutes but the real test will be the day I can do a full day trip.

Looking for Caps to cover 4 bolts on handlebar

Thanks for the lead on the bolt covers. On my 2020 it looks like lock-tite was splashed all over the bolts. It will be nice to cover them up.
