• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Our Four Seasons

Seems like we can get all four seasons in one day! I long for the days when we can ride up to sunset and not freeze!

Trying to decide which Ryker to buy - test ride

We tour 2+ weeks a year, so we went with the RT, but if I could have 2, a Ryker would be in the running for the 2nd. The aggressive "bare bones" look has grown on me.

Need a Seat Cushion for my 2022 RTL - any suggestions?

This is the way..... We mix it up each fuel stop. We alternate between a Butt Buffer, a no-name seat pad (don't even remember where I got it from), and the Spyder seat. Each fuel stop, we just rotate to the next one. For the long days pounding the interstate to get somewhere interesting, it...

Anyone else a loner and not a group rider?

I ride solo only when the weather is too chilly for my wife. Then she rides with me. All our bike trips are her and I. We have done several with 1, 2, or 3 other bikes. You have to make sure you are all on the same page before the trip begins, our 500 mile day to get somewhere may be torture for...

Anyone run a Keep Out The Trash AND a decorative grill?

I just have the decorative ones "RT" design. I have read of others zip-tying coarse screening to them when they will be encountering dirty riding (grasshopper season, etc). I know its not the experience you are looking for, but wanted to share what I have read.

Doing my first Iron Butt tonight!

canamjhb, i use 55 mph for my estimates, and for our riding pace, it works right on for us. When we go on our tours, planning stops is a breeze because we basically know right where we will be after so many hours on the road. Not saying I would, but I wonder if I can bump that pace for 1-up...

Doing my first Iron Butt tonight!

This is the stuff I was looking for. I appreciate it. We do 500+ mile days 2-up, I take ibuprofin on the regular to keep the pains at bay. I don't get much over 150 miles before I have to stop anyway, I limit the miles more than the bike does, plus a good stretch and refreshment every couple of...

Call out Video to Can Am On Road

Thank you for the video, interesting thoughts. I really only have a couple of comments.... Pricing, I think, is really what market will bear.... not really sure how else to put that. I wanted a Spyder, so if I wanted to ride one, I had to pay. It was my recreational vehicle, like my 2-wheeler...

    First ride of the season

Been out for a rip once already when it was 55 or so. So good to be back on the road. Two recent days riding to work were cool, 35-ish in the morning and 45-ish on the way home. They are forecasting rain and snow for the weekend again, so back in the corner it goes for a bit......... I'm ready...

Doing my first Iron Butt tonight!

I'm interested in your strategy if you wouldn't mind sharing. I've done some research, but I would love to hear how you planned/executed the mileage vs. time. (Rest stops, etc.) Thanks for sharing your experience!

Tracking 2023 Spyders Arrivals at Dealerships

Ohhh, this brings back some painful memories...... almost flashbacks - LOL. I went through this with my '22...... I'm interested to see how this new year plays out, 2022 was a nightmare with the supply chain issues, and I'm not slinging any mud here. It was just painful for those waiting. I...

A small Safety Mod to our 2022 RTL with a big improvement!

Got the shifter pad installed and rode to work this morning. Straight up, easy to install (I did the turn indicator previously), both of these additions make the ride much better. I will recommend them to anyone who will listen. Also appreciated is the time Dave took to develop these simple...

Found another cleaner that I love!

Lamonster's Black Dymond Matte finish detailer was the first thing I bought for my "Mystery Blue" Sea to Sky. I highly recommend this cleaner/detailer. I also use Chemical Guys Matte wash for when the bike is especially filthy. I was never a fan of Matte finishes either, but when this bike is...

What’s your best memory/story (so far) with your Spyder/Ryker ??

So far, it is our trip to Churchill Downs for Father's Day last year. Wound up with a nasty sunburn, but that S2S was a smooth ride!! I am betting the PA trip and Deadwood this year are going to eclipse that!

Pros or Cons of wrapping my 2021 RT LTd

I put some GT stripes on the frunk and top case. Very easy to install, just follow the instructions and watch their videos.

A small Safety Mod to our 2022 RTL with a big improvement!

I was able to get about 50 miles in on Sunday. Put the turn signal button on, and all I can say is this is how it should have been from the factory. A little annoyance has been corrected. I'll get the shift pad on before my next ride.

A small Safety Mod to our 2022 RTL with a big improvement!

Got mine in the mail - both the indicator replacement button and the + shift paddle pad. Just maybe this coming weekend, I'll be able to get it off the wheel dollies and do some installs and the first shakedown ride of the year.
