• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    new Corbin seats!!!

It took about five weeks to get the Corbin seats. I got it before Christmas. I just delayed the installation due to winter conditions back then. Of course, the anticipation of getting it was the difficult part. But, my overall satisfaction is two thumbs up.:2thumbs:

    new Corbin seats!!!

Hi, Tatt2r. I had my local Spyder dealer install the Corbin seats. I don't know how laborious it would be if I were the one to do it, so I had the dealer intall it for me along with my Scorpio alarm i900. They charged me 1.1/2 hours for the install of the seats. They did not mention to me any...

    My new seats!!!

Two additional replies to make: Yes, it made it feel like the front seat was a little higher compared from the stock. I also have the red SE5 with the stock seat to compare it with. My rear backrest does not match the yellow seats. I have the BRP backrest not the Corbin backrest for the rear...

    My new seats!!!

Thank you for all the nice comments you guys. I was in Bodega Bay for two days and I was unable to check the responses here. This is the new style Corbin seats for the Can Am Spyder. Yes, you can combine colors. However, the (Corbin)yellow does not really match the millenium yellow of the...

    My new seats!!!

I got my seats back in December but I postponed the installation because of the snow and freezing weather here in Reno back then. The weather has been warmer and sunnier and so I finally got the seats installed and have been riding more. I also had a Scorpio i900 alarm installed. I am pleased...

    Wider front tires

I will be posting my wider tires/ fenders and other mods as soon as it is all done. I was reluctant in changing from stock to wider tires but I have decided to pursue the mods I have been thinking and wanting. If I'm happy then it's all good. It's how the Spyder will be uniquely differrent from...

    Darn nails......

Question for you folks. I understand we are talking about changing the rear tire (BRP tire vs different tire) and how it would affect the tcs. If I were to change my front tires to wider tires, would it also affect the sensor ? How about traction?

    Spyder edition numbers

The first production of the Spyder are all Premier Editions. At first, BRP projected only 2500 PEs but I believe they went over 3000. I think it may be close to 3,500. The PE number is located on the right side of the bar. BRP also gave PE jackets along with the card membership. A Spyder is...

    Canadian Spyder mods

Nice touch! Like the grill idea too. I, too, have a project underway (since November) for the Spyder and it will get done this month. I am changing the "snowmobile look" of the Spyder. I hope I can win some votes here when I get to post it. I am looking forward to showing it to you guys...

    Quick...get to the roof!

This is the new generation of Evil Knievel. No disrespect to the late one. He was a great legend. But Robbie is an extraordinary athlete himself. That is an extreme, "Xtreme Biker".:D  :2thumbs:

    4" Riser, I'm still debating.....

MM might be bias but he is right on the money with the results. It took me a long time before I decided to purchase one (reasons being: looks vs comfort; accessories that I wanted to add vs. comfort), but in the end I chose what the rest of the unbiased review from other spyder owners who...

    4" Riser, I'm still debating.....

You can always replace the bar if you would truly regret it later on. But speaking on behalf of those who have done it, I love it. I have no regrets whatsoever. Let us know what you think of it when you add the risers, because until then, you would not know what you are missing and the...
