• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Try the search, there is alot of info already on this site, Lamonster has some great solutions on this matter, even a schrader valve conversion under the seat is an option, there are many ways to get your problem sorted. Offcourse the easiest way, is to go to a shockcompany, and ask for the...

RSS owner asking F3 owners - is there any heat off the engine onto your right foot?

Cannot compare, between the two, I only have ridden an F3s, but after my catdelete, and mounting an akropovic exhaust, the heat at the right foot seems a little bit higher, not so much that it bothers me, but it was a noticable difference. As far as the GS is better in the twisties, I beg to...

Ryker 600 - will the speed/RPM be too high for a regular 75mph commute?

If bought new, first few hundred miles, should be driven with various RPM's, for proper break in, I don't think 600 or 900 would be an issue, 75 mph cruisin speed won't harm any motor, overhere in the Netherlands we have cars with a 750cc 3cylinder engine, and they cruise interstate speeds...

2009 Front Sprocket - WHAT shape are the teeth on the shaft?

My two cents worth, Try a new sprocket first, with a sticky lube (as Peter stated), welding is really a last resort, it would make the next sprocket change a lot harder, even impossible without destroying the oilseals, that would be really expensive. Find a shop who specialize in gearboxes and...

OEM(?) F3 windshield - is this adjustable or not?

I for one don't think it's aftermarket, it's a Blue Ridge Windscreen, provided by Can Am, I have the same on my F3s, if you are in the market for a bigger screen, look at 7Jurock, they offer a shield, using the same brackets as o.e.m. Can Am windshield, and they have them in different sizes...

After Bike to Bike and Rider to Passenger comms recommendations?

Only thing to keep in mind, is that you don't use two diffrent brands. If you want Bike2bike communication, stick with one brand, and it will work fine. Mixing brands will lead to loss of communication due to diffrent bluetooth protocols. Cardo or Sena are the leading brands, Interphone has a...

How are the BRP emblems attached? Easy to remove?

Martin the Vlogger also has a set of emblems, I believe they are 3d printed with a sort of smiley face. It's just what you fancy. I, for one, had a Wrap company print some stickers in the size of the emblems, so everything is possible. Just think outta the box

    1330cc RPM shift points

When cruisin, I keep the rev's around 2500 rpm, upshift to cruising speeds just around the 3000/3500 rpm's, whilst driving solo, rpm's usually lies around the 5000 rpm's :) the 1330 is a mighty motor, and likes it both ways, It loves to cruise, but also wants to be drivin hard... depends on the...

Any ideas on this 2012 Spyder RT knocking sound?

Just my two cents worth, DOES IT HAVE THE RIGHT OIL, for spyders it has to be a Jaso M2 spec, this is specially designed for wet clutches, let us know, what the dealer says after pulling the satts

Weak brakes! Stock Ryker brakes suck - Any other calipers fit?

Me thinks, changing the rotors to EBC brand, will do the trick for you, don't know what calipers are used on the ryker, but my spyder has brembo's, and they make me stop on a dime, I replaced the stock pads and rotors with EBC ones, and they work. But even the best brakes will cook, when...
