• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for hand guards ( the less expensive kind )

I have these and like them. An issue that I see for the Ryker is the mirrors. :gaah: cueman

    Free dealer oil changes?

As long as I’m able I choose to do it myself. From past experience I wouldn’t want dealerships touching my vehicle unless I had to. The way I look at is, if I have to double check their work I may as well do it myself and know it was done properly. ;) cueman

Anyone Towing Their Spyder with a Triton Trailer?

Mine is an AUT 1084. It’s the best trailer I’ve ever owned bar none. Mine is a few years old now and I think they stopped making the ten footers this wide. My Ryker goes right up with no scraping but not any over hang on Rykers. Very well made with a bunch of mounting options. If you lived...

RLS Exhaust for the Ryker Which looks the best?

Any pipe I buy needs to perform better than stock. I’m not opposed to buying a complete kit but things are getting a little slow a this forum, so I figured I’d spark it up with my comment. :shemademe_smilie: cueman

    Ryker canister-ectomy???

I think we are talking about two different noises. Yes, when I hit the button the first time I can hear the fuel pump run for just a few seconds and once pressure is built up it stops as it should. The howling mono tone noise sounds to me like the fuel fumes canister that has a hose going to a...

    Ryker canister-ectomy???

Hi Rob, I hope BRP does have a new design fuel pump for the Ryker but where mine was checked never heard of this issue and other dealers that I called had no idea either. Yet some have replaced the fuel pump on others. Either way BRP and the dealerships need to get their stuff together. Don’t...

    Ryker canister-ectomy???

Hi Doc, yes the purge valve is correct. In an article that I read about the 998 it referenced that by blocking the line just before the purge valve that the valve would still open and close and only the fuel vapor canister was to be removed and the line going to it be disconnected and run to the...

    Ryker canister-ectomy???

Did that fix the issue? Or has the weather turned cooler and maybe won’t know until next summer when temperatures heat up again? I’m just not sure. Thanks, cueman

    Ryker canister-ectomy???

Ok Folks, I’m tired of getting the run around about the howling noise that my Rally sometimes makes, usually when temperatures are hot and fuel gauge around half, that some dealerships are replacing fuel pumps and other dealerships saying they can’t fix the problem if they can’t duplicate it...

Anyone done an Oil change thru oil filler tube?

Take the drain plugs out and clean all the metal shavings off. You will be surprised especially when draining transmission. cueman

    Checking final drive

Hi Nico75, I got the tools to get it out that work for me. I had to get more creative to make a tool to get the plug back in. I got a long Phillips head screw driver and put a piece rubber fuel line that fit fairly tight into the plug. That rubber gives some flexibility to more easily start the...
