• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is this what Programing a new key takes & costs?

Thanks to all that responded! So I ended up buying a blank from a dealer on amazon. $65. $10 less than the dealer I went to. I have a local guy I like for cutting the blank. He already cut a regular Ilco for me. So I live over 100 miles from the closest dealer, I also make it a point to do as...

What bike did you ride to get your motorcycle license ??

A 1970 HT1 Yamaha Enduro, in 1970. I was 14. Have not taken another riding test since. Had to re-do the written portion some 10 years ago, for what ever reason, missed like 15 out of 25...... all were stupid, crash read their book on the spot, managed to pass it then.

Doing my first Iron Butt tonight!

Good luck with it. I have done several IB events with my last several 1000 mile rides at just over 12 hours. Eat minimal food, snack on trail mix and jerky , vitamins are good along with Amino acids. Sucky thing about doing it on a Spyder is the fuel range. My first one on a HD with 4 gallons of...

What oil are you using for your 1330 engine?? Tips & hints on oil change?

T6 was recommended to me by a good friend who has been a high end auto machinist for some 60 years. Builds and runs racing engines, breaks them down on a regular basis. Also has tore down lots of high mileage engines. I've used it for some 25 years in all my vehicles, 50's and 60's hot rods, new...

What's the best way of Lifting a 2021 RTL to work on the Sway bar?

I consider myself lucky to have found a solid used unit from the early 80's for super cheap and have the room to set it up. It came from a local shop going out of business and looked like a mess when I brought it home. Took longer to figure it all out than it did to set it up.

What's the best way of Lifting a 2021 RTL to work on the Sway bar?

I'm lucky enough to own a 4 post lift as I own and work on several vintage cars. I also take my hobby serious in regards to working on things safely and convenient. If I was looking to get a spyder up in the air, I would go with a Big Blue. It has hardware made for a spyder. So it's not just...
