• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Clutch Problems F3T SM6

If it is #18, they should have been able to see it when the steels and friction plates were replaced. The mechanic said it was behind all of the clutch components. That is why I figured it had to be #42. If it was #18, how could they have missed it the supposedly 8 times they had it apart trying...

13' RTL - GPS power questions

The connection you have pictured does NOT disconnect. The only connections are under the side cover and all you have to do is unplug them. I would recommend either getting the caps that BRP has for the plugs, or taping them up to keep dirt and moisture out. just in case you, or a future owner...

    Clutch Problems F3T SM6

Just bought the Connie in December. I have almost 5000 miles on it. Other than wearing the front and rear OEM tires out in the first 3400 miles, I've had no issues with it at all.

    Clutch Problems F3T SM6

Sorry, I was referring to the metal plates between the friction plates. I have always referred to them as "steels". They replaced both the friction plates and the steel plates.

    Clutch Problems F3T SM6

We didn't actually have to cancel the trips, but my wife did have to ride 2up with me vs riding her Spyder like she wanted to. This whole warranty process with bikes is total BS. Take your car or truck in for warranty work, They actually work on the vehicle and fix it. They will call along the...

    F3T - Speaker and sound improvement ?

I haven't done any upgrades to the stereo on the spyder, but the stock stereo on my Magnum is similar. It has low level outputs at the rear of the bike that requires a second factory amp to power rear speakers. For aftermarket upgrades, you can utilize the low level outputs and route it to an...

    Clutch Problems F3T SM6

Posting this in case it helps someone else out in the future. I have been noticing that it was getting difficult to get the bike into neutral pretty much since we bought it. I figured it was just an adjustment that needed to be done, possibly needed to bleed the system. Decided I would look...

    F3 Overall Length

You could make it work by angling the spyder on the trailer. You would loose part of the space you have dedicated for storage in your drawing tho.

Retiring soon, vehicle / trailer recommendations.

One thing I didn't see mentioned was brakes. If you run too close to, or exceed the max tow limits on a vehicle, you may have difficulty getting that load stopped in a reasonable distance. Based on what you have said you are planning to do, 3-4 week trips, have you considered a toy hauler? Yes...

    Need help - electrical

I spend a lot of time on forums and do my best to help others when I can. It is always frusterating when the OP doesn't post back after the issue is resolved. Who knows how many others will have the same problem and read thread after thread where others have had the same issue, but the solution...

    Need help - electrical

Got it figured out. The Left R3 relay (Main Accessory and Engine) was sticking. I left the key on and was tapping on the relays. When I tapped that one, everything powered up. Starts and runs fine now. I'm going to pick up a replacement relay and swap it out so I don't have problems in the...

That fuse was my first thought, and first one I pulled out and held up to a light to see if it was blown. I'll try replacing it and see. Thanks

The problem is that none of the items that work have a relay. I don't know for certain that any of them work.

Bike is a 2016 F3T. Only mods are Lamonster LED headlights and fog lights, BRP heated grips, and a Garmin Zumo 590 connected to the factory stereo harness. It is my wife's bike and she has been out on it several times since the mods were done with no issues, so I don't think they are related...

    Supercharged production touring bike

Here is it's big brother out running them. The touring version is slightly detuned, but I doubt it would have any problems out running them too. (The good part starts at 2:45)

    1330 Performance Upgrades

So, unless I'm not understanding your post correctly, splicing the sensors to allow a dyno run is just a theory. If that is the case, how do they know the flash is increasing hp and torque? One or the other has to be incorrect. Either they know how and have had it on the dyno, or they don't know...
