• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What do/did you do for a living?

Drive a school bus, trying to talk the company into making a trailer with seats in it that I can haul with the Spyder, maybe Evan can hook me up with amber and red flashers. :ohyea:Oh wait, he did already with the Wizard Kit. :ohyea:

    Accessory Pouch/Bag

Yes, the BRP bag is a little bit of a pain to install and is really only one compartment. The NR bag seems like a nicer setup, I might have gone that way myself had I known about the NR bag. I gotta say tho, the BRB bag has held up to a lot of abuse. Not only has it gotten rain soaked a few...

    Replacement tire questin?

More hassle than any car, but not any more than most bikes. Best part is you will have advice from a lot of people here to get through it. I just had a BF goodrich put on mine. Took the wheel off the Spyder myself, ordered the tire online, brought the tire and wheel to a local shop and they...

    Sprocket to rear wheel

Just had a BF Goodrich mounted on my rear wheel. I took the sprocket off for the mounting. It lifted strait off with no problem. Now I am putting it back on and I had a 1/16 inch gap between the sprocket and the wheel. I checked the O ring and it is in place. I tried tapping it down with a...

    BRP Parts list site

Thanks anyway for the attempt to share it. Myself, I cant always get it to open. I select Raodster, then Roadster again. Then I work my way thru 2008/Spyder/5 speed/ select something like drive system rear. I want to see the assembly tree. So in the search box, I put a word like "nut". then...

    Accessory Pouch/Bag

Andy, I have the BRP tank bag which has a clear plastic map pouch on top. I slid a small keychain type opener in there. A cheaper solution for the handlebars is to get a good quaility weatherproof fanny pack and spread it across the handlebars. I have 4 inch risers so I have it clipped...

    Rear tire valve stem

Firefly, I just had my rear off to get a new tire put on, and the belt will come off the wheel and sprocket if you take the bottom bolt off the shock and let the swing arm down. The sprocket just pulls off and you can spin it back in place.

    25% OFF...SPYDER LOVERS ONLY!-valid January 22, 23 and 24th! 2010

Spyderman, I certainly dont want to discourage you from one of our newest sponsers, but buy something else from them and dont waste your time with the 1 inch riser block. It is really hard to install, and there are better risers out there that are easier to install on give you more...

A question for all Spyder owners.

A big yes ! I put 15 thousand miles on it last year, and loved every minute. :ohyea: The only thing I would have done differently is wait for a better deal. I bought when demand was high, before the were any incentives or ability to deal. So I paid full price, prep, frieght, etc. and ended...
