• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any foreseeable problems or concerns with this Trailer Hitch Suspension?

He might also want some spring with never rates to play around with. The GoPro camera will tell a story!

Any foreseeable problems or concerns with this Trailer Hitch Suspension?

Would not hurt to add a little more beads.

Check out this Rock on the road!

This came quite fast, I passed over it with it just inside my left front tire and heard a little thump, and no damage. Jerry behind me was not as lucky and broke a plastic panel under the rad hose on that side.

Any foreseeable problems or concerns with this Trailer Hitch Suspension?

How is the "hitch piece" attached to the U shaped piece that goes the the swing arm. I agree that hitch piece and its attachment should maybe reinforced. And maybe switch to flange nuts and thicker washers on the vertical pin.

Anybody else rounded off the hex Oil filter cap? Any tips to remove?

Like noted 6 point 36mm socket. tap on it a little with a rubber mallet. Same socket works on the rear axle bolt and nut.

I just bought a second 2022 Spyder F3 this week.

I get to "build out" my newest 2018 RT when I get back to Washington for the summer. Tires, sway bar, mounts for GPS, Android Auto screen, LED head lights, cup and phone holders. Goes in for Transmission output shaft recall in June, so fresh oil and anti-freeze.

    Kickstand Bolt fell out!!!

You turn around with your back to it, grab the righting handles, and use your legs not your back to right it. However, on many Spyders, the righting handles are missing!

I went inside one of those for lunch with friends about 10 years ago.

2014 RT with intermittent buzzing noise - any ideas on what it might be?

If they can not fix it, then probably no one can!

"Before operating read safety card" message will not go away, parking brake staying on - anyone had this happen? How did you fix it?

There is some logic in the electronics between the low fluid level and the parking brake indicator.

I think one is his and the other is a rental he has.

What changes between a New 2026 RT vs a 2021 RT might make worthwhile considering?

Display is better/different? How you get in reverse gear is improved? And 25K is just broken in! Seems like new models have the same teething issues as other year models.

Ever mount a longer strut under the seat?

Well I installed one of the two on my Arizona RT and the other will go North with for the Washington RT. And yes, the seat comes up slowly by itself. Thanks

Anyone identify this exhaust system? (And how do I quiet it down?)

On the other other side of the noise coin, has anyone drilled out/modified the OEM 1330 muffler allowing a little more noise to escape? I did that on a Yamaha 600 mountain max years ago.

I admit defeat - I now understand how dealers might charge $7-800.00 for a spark plug change!

This only had around 12K when the recall was done. And my Washington Spyder has only 4100 miles and gets the recall done in June.

I admit defeat - I now understand how dealers might charge $7-800.00 for a spark plug change!

When having the transmission output shaft recall done, if you are anywhere near the 30K mark, have them install plugs while the engine is out.

Does anybody use a GPS Tracking device for monitoring their Spyder's location?

I have a bunch of these little alarms. They give a warning chirp before fully going off. I had a couple in my SxS, on Spyders, on bicycles, storage box on trailer, under the pickup bed cover on and on...

My first thousand miles on the Spyder

I will be 82 in June and am looking forward to making my latest 2018 RT "mine" (tires, sway bar, LEDs, mounts from electronics etc) when I see it in person for the first time when I get back to Washington for the summer. I have AO related peripheral neuropathy in both feet so a trike was the...
