• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Riders Share - has anyone tried or rented their bike out ?

I agree with Copperman. You never know what kind of yahoo might be riding your bike and how he/she will treat it. It just cost's too much to take a chance for me.

How can I confirm s/ware updates on Pre-purchase checklist were done?

I can't help as mine is older than yours and it's a RTL plus has never been updated. You might want to ask this in the Buds, BudsII section of the forum.

Any ideas on Replacing Heated Grips with Non-heated Grips? 2012 RT

Another option is the foam grip covers that most of our vendors sell. I love mine.

Using 4 FOBO TPMS senders to monitor the tires + ACS too!

I also did not use the lock nuts on my fobo's.

How can I confirm s/ware updates on Pre-purchase checklist were done?

I gave up on that dealer a week after the purchase. I haven't needed one since anyhow.

How can I confirm s/ware updates on Pre-purchase checklist were done?

I still think that both your and my dealership at least had the same training, meaning = NONE, we just sell them then wipe our hands of you. Your post # 13 was almost my experience to a T. Can-Am really should do better at handing out dealerships and make sure that they have trained personnel...

How can I confirm s/ware updates on Pre-purchase checklist were done?

Sounds like we had the same dealer. I do not trust the dealer that I purchased mine from and will never step foot back into their door. Good luck, they will tell you anything.

Using 4 FOBO TPMS senders to monitor the tires + ACS too!

All that I did was install them and the set it up for the reverse trike with air bag. The only glitch that I had was one sensor did not connect until I rolled the spyder out of the garage and it connected then. I put this off to me having a metal roof on my House/garage. Try moving outside...

My new baby - which gas? 87, E10, or is 91 octane better?

You'll get all kinds of replies on this. It's one of those things that people just like to disagree about. :roflblack: I'm the opposite of the others, I run the higher octane just because most times my spyder only holds 5.5 gallons when I fuel up. At roughly only .50 cents a gallon (3.15 vs...

Anyone ever used a Universal Cruise Control on 2020 RT?

The 2020's had a brake light switch recall. Did you get this done? If you got it used and do not know then you might want to get your dealer to run the vin to see if it was ever done.

    Is it Zumo time???

Have you checked the Y connector for power out with a voltage tester/multimeter? Both sides? You could have a bad connector. Those wires are very small and prone to being pulled apart or broken easily.

2010 RT-S with front end wobble after brake change - can anyone help?

Like already mentioned, check the bearings, they can cause tire wear also and a vibration when going around a curve. Do this before getting an alignment.

Has anyone tried Different Batteries, like a NOCO 600A Lithium? How is it working?

I have the Noco NLP20 in mine and love it. It's been over a year with no problem at all. Make sure that you have a maintainer for the lithium battery also if you go this route. Noco make an excellent product for that also.

There is no tupperware to be removed on the 2020+ models. I did mine without removing anything.

    Looking for recommendation on TPMS

Why not just use the 2 pack of two? I have one on each of the three wheels and one on the shock. There's a place in the app to set it up for that. I searched on WalMart.com for the best price that I could find - In stock and free shipping. $166.00 for the four plus tax. ($82.99ea 2pk)

2020+ SEAT Strut issues - a different solution!

The spring was put on a newer Spyder, 2020 and above. I doubt that it will work on the older spyders as I think that they had a longer cylinder/strut.
