• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Front Sprocket Correction at Dealership

Not sure where you are in Pa but at my dealer the “new” sprockets ( sort of grey/greenish color) has not arrived yet. They were suppose to be in end of February first of March but was told they would be in starting the first week of April now. My dealer is taking service spots so they must be in...

Maybe Spring is upon us ???

6 degrees and 6 inches last night. Maybe April 21 after all the salt brine acid washes away. You enjoy! Mother Nature has given us the dumbest pattern ever………… small amount of wet heavy snow, followed by mid 40’s the next day, rain for the next 2 days and repeat since mid February. Seems to snow...

Any ingenious ways of hauling Fishing poles?

Do you have a hitch? Could you simply take some 2 inch PVC, heat up and make oval shape. Then take saber saw and cut out a notch on one side. Mount 3 or 4 to a piece of wood and mount to hitch. Place poles on tubes and Velcro. They work on boats, fronts of trucks and rear of trucks for beach...

Anyone run a Keep Out The Trash AND a decorative grill?

I can do that. There’s enough space around the rubber plastic frame of the decorative grills. I can probably remove the grill with little nuts, wrap decorative grill and reinstall with same nut and add a washer. I just wonder if the decorative grill will still be splattered so bad, they're...

Anyone run a Keep Out The Trash AND a decorative grill?

I was doing a bit of investigating. This summer I will do my first true tour. Looking at 6 weeks on the road solely on the Spyder from PA to Canada, to the UP, across the Prairies, Colorado, Montana, Idaho, and back. I have done touring with my Toy Hauler where I travel out West, drop the gate...

Call out Video to Can Am On Road

Wow, between this tread and BRP not showing up at a rally, I surely hope it gets warm quick so we can all get out and ride instead of bashing a company that we love to ride with. As for price……… Sorry to be blunt, but this guy needs to go look at what a SXS costs right now. Yep $45K from $23K 4...

Tracking 2023 Spyders Arrivals at Dealerships

I would not hold your breath on April 1st. That makes no sense to me. Literally the sled production was closed on the February 23-27 one week after spring checks were released. Spyder production would take a week to transfer over to so that means it’s up and full running this week. That gives...

Once again, BRP didn't show up for Daytona Bike Week!!

I don’t know this for fact, but I bet spyder is their weakest and least profitable of all BRP lines. The ryker was suppose to hit the younger generation and boost the line and I’m not really sure how that worked out. Powersport Sales are with the young generation and let’s face it, most spyder...

Which General rear tire for Spyder F3S?

Not now. His first spyder he used the OEM to 32k on the fronts. They really held together nicely. Then the Generals on the front for close to 42K with life still to go but he changed out then. They stopped making the general size for the front tires so He put the federals on for the remaining of...

Which General rear tire for Spyder F3S?

I don’t think many if anyone has really had a chance to review the new 45. It came out I believe last October or November. My dad has over 125K on 2 spyders on the originals 43-RT’s. He’ll be putting a new one on late summer for sure. He will not put anything else but the generals. I will also...

What is the torque specs for 2014-2018 RT BRP hitch?

This I believe is the 11-13 series which looks the same as the 14-18 series as in build. This definitely has the smaller rear wheel and old style headlights compared to the version of instructions I had originally. According to this the torque lbs are 48 foot pounds which seems a bit low to me...

What is the torque specs for 2014-2018 RT BRP hitch?

I can’t seem to find my old hitch installation directions. I looked on BRP and the number for the hitch has changed/ superseded for the new series and there are no instructions for my hitch available. Instructions only for the new series (which may be the same, but I remember people talking...

What should it cost to mount tires - this much??

You’re in Ohio. Head the southern Ohio rally in June and Netzley will be there. His prices are way cheaper. Plus meet and ride with a bunch of other spyders. He’s installed 2 rears for me and 1 set of fronts. He’s laser aligned too. It’s only about 1 hour or so from you in zanesville.

Here's a Website of Locations for Ethanol Free Gas...

VERY IMPRESSIVE! I just looked up a couple that I didn’t think would be on there ( card only, no station, self serve) and they were listed. Theres another one that sells racing fuel and ethanol free only and doesn’t have a “brand” station in fact still has the old style pump with no card and it...

BajaRon is holding his First Annual Rally

What’s the temps like around April 1st down there? We usually still have snow up here. Probably won't this year unless Mother Nature decides that “Hey, you have had the least amount of snow ever recorded in history this year, I’m going to average you out and pull an April Fools joke to make all...

What experiences have you had with Lithium Batteries?

Out of curiosity, Besides Mikey, Dunkin and Idaho, everyone that has posted lives in warmer areas and doesn’t hibernate their spyders very long if at all. Living in the the snow belts and receiving 140-170 plus inches a year ( not this year of course) but colder on the average of 25 degrees all...

Is 82 from Carbondale to twin lakes paved all the way?

Good note Tim. Thanks. I can run it either way since I am ending at the same point. I will take your advise. I was told running north on 92 on the east side of black canyon is better than running south. So I guess I just have to make a decision which circle to go. Counter clockwise or clockwise...

Is 82 from Carbondale to twin lakes paved all the way?

Thanks aero and jaybros. I am aware of altitude sickness. I have mountain sledded for years to the north towards steamboat etc in the winter since 2015. I’ve been in silvertorn but just not in the middle part in the summer time. It will be mid July. I expect traffic on 50 in the morning and...

How Long - Salida, Black Canyon, Carbondale, Twin Lakes, & return to Salida?

I have an extra day in my trip mid July. I will stay just east of salida. Want to run to 93, up 133 to 82 to 24. Any idea in real time how long this will take. No way is Google maps correct. What’s a real expectation time? Was told it’s an absolute beautiful ride. From there heading north to mt...
