• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

She is really hot but I went limp..

I can't possibly imagine what you are doing to that spyder. I beat the livin' pi## out of mine and I've never gotten a limp mode. Including racing bikes up over 110 mph and everytime I run the brook road the nanny comes alive as if I don't break the rear tire loose I'm not riding. I've even had...

Installed Kuryakan Black Iso Grips, Throttle Boss and end weights today.

One of the best upgrades for the spyder. I just did my wife's and my machine about a week ago. The throttle boss is the S#*!! Just did footpegs a couple of days ago. Nicer on the feet.

Oh no...wife said she preferred taking the GL1800 instead........

Lisa and I only rode 2-up a couple of times. The last time I tried to throw her off the back going up the mountain like a bat outta h#!! in Stratton. She said go get your own Spyder after that! Works every time!

Are There Still People Out There Who Don't Think Helmets Are Necessary?

After scooping my neighbor's brains up in a dust pan after he crashed in front of my house several years back and listening to the dreaded death rattle as I was holding him in my arms.....Yea, Helmets are a "GOOD" thing!

    I've lost my Spyder!

Just keep disappearing on it until she finally says "why don't you get your own"? ;) Fortunately, Lisa wanted to ride the 1st one herself and told me to get my own. I have a wonderful wifey!

    acknowledging other oncoming bikers

I've noticed that too. I chalk it up to the fact that all the vibration has made their arms numb and they can't lift them above knee level.;)

    acknowledging other oncoming bikers

:bowdown:I'm right there with ya. I only acknowledge if anyone does first. It's funny here in VT. On the weekends very few give a wave. I would say maybe 5-10%. It's even lower with the guys on the bikes with the large front fairings. Victory's I think. I don't think I've ever seen a gesture...

    "Nice Snowmobile buddy"!

I would have asked him "where is your sidecar to hold all the parts that fall off that rattle trap you're riding"? :ohyea:

    i wanna ride with shorts

My wife and I wear Speed and Strength mesh jackets with removable waterproof liners but regular old jeans on the bottom. Road rash will heal on your legs but I always felt the back/shoulder/elbow protection was critical when you hit the pavement. I can attest to the back protection having 400lb...

    Taller rider needs some advice...

I have the same problem. My legs severely cramp because of being all crunched up on the rs. Handlebar risers are a must. I just ordered a set of pegs and am in the process of fabricating a highway peg setup that looks much nicer than what you can get and actually gets my feet on the outside of...
