• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    The Ultimate mistake????

Seat Issues I have had a couple of after market seats on my Spyder and find that how my feet and legs orient are pretty important. Saw that same note on an earlier post and would recommend trying to change the height of your floorboards. If your leg is 'hanging' downward and the seat is...

Iphone Application ---Pure Gas- To Find non Ethanol Fuel As more states approve additional levels of ethanol gas, the IPhone application Pure Gas is a great tool. It is a free app that will show you locations of non ethanol gasoline wherever you are. I used it several times last summer while...

Can you stand on Rivco CA020-WO Floorboards?

Tried Different Floorboards Good point that any floorboard should be well constructed of quality material for safety if nothing else. I will put my diamond plate ones up against any I have seen for strength and width of platform. Have tried several other ones that set way too high and flex a...

Can you stand on Rivco CA020-WO Floorboards?

Recently changed seats and now looking for a different floorboard set up. The floorboards I had made are very sturdy and support anyone that has stood on them without flexing. (Includes a 6'5" 280 lb. riding buddy) . My current floorboards do drop down 5 1/2 inches below the pegs, so give a...

    Spyders not for real men

Most People are pretty nice! Most of the people including the ones with a lot of ink are pretty nice. The other ones are just knuckleheads that will probably never change their way of thinking about bikes, politics, education or God. All you can do is react in a way that does not make you a...

    Battery Tender

Battery Tender is Great I use the Junior model and found that keeping the battery charged fully extends the life of the battery. Have several of these, so try to keep batteries on everything not used frequently charged up.

    Need help diagnosing my problem

Check Spark Plug Wires My 2008 started acting really odd when the plug wires went bad. Sometimes they worked ok and sometimes had the problems you described. Would suggest a pair of plug wires from Baja Ron who is a Spyderlover.com vendor. I just put a set of his plug wires in and had a...

    Cold Fingers

Gerbings Heated Stuff works Great I like to ride in the winter. People see the Spyder more since it is usually the only bike on the road, so it helps with safety also. I have heated insoles, pants, jacket liner and gloves so stay warm no matter what the temp. You do have to be a little...

    Wind & Head Shake

Windscreen Height? Is your windshield set at the correct height? Mine is set so I can see over the top of the windshield an inch or so. That pushes most of the air over my head. When using my narrow sport windshield, I still get the wind on my shoulders and on the sides. When using the...

my rear tire is completely shot in the middle

Kumho Ecsta works great for me My OEM Kenda wore out at 12,000 miles so replaced with the same profile Kumho Ecsta. I now have about 3,000 miles on that tire and can not even tell it has been ran. The ride is better also and using 26 psi has been a good compromise for ride and tire...
