• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is this what Programing a new key takes & costs?

Exactly what I did. Bought a key from the dealer here in Austin, $79.00 Went to the best locksmith here to have the blank cut to match. $20.00 for that. Got the key cloned when I got my rear Kumho, package deal, no charge. I count myself lucky.

Parking Brake will not release - any better fix than disconnecting?

Found this U0128 TCM BOSCH Lost communication with WPM/EPB (lost of CAN ID’s) Missing CAN ID 460h from WPM/EPB. Module internal error. Damaged circuit wires or damaged module pins. Check for TCM fault or WPM/EPB fault. With unit connected to BUDS with MPI2, Turn ignition switch OFF, wait for...

Red Dust of Death Recall???? Front Sprocket Recall - FINALLY....

RideNow Austin did not charge me anything for the recall. You should not be paying for anything.

Hate putting air in rear tire.....Hate it.

I used my new Jaco on the rear tire for the first time today. I got the valve at roughly 5 o'clock, EASILY snapped the hose on through the rear sprocket, and got the pressure I wanted in seconds. Why I didn't buy one of these years ago is beyond me. I have JT's dual hose setup for the fronts...

Need to Release the Parking Brake ...manually - Anyone help?

Not sure about an F3, but on my 2017 RTS, two 12mm wrenches will back off the nuts on the brake cable at the rear wheel. I had to do that when my parking brake failed in the locked position so I could get it towed to the dealer. Really easy to do. Good luck.

    Fed up with Can-Am service!

This most certainly reeks of a Dealer s**t show, and a lot of disinformation, but some questions arise: (1) There have been numerous threads here that chronicle the entire history of the sprocket (very long) recall process. Have you checked any of them to get a real time sense of the timeline of...

A Request Passed On To All - Add your Spyder/Ryker Year/model to your Sig Line!

Guilty of TMI. My signature has become somewhat bloated over the years, and I guess maybe takes up a lot of space. But at least everyone knows what I ride.

    Recalled Sprocket Replacement on order

Wow, I am surely one of the lucky ones timewise. I got mine done last December. Evidentially, my dealer sells enough combined Can-Am products that they were able to get a somewhat large number of the new sprockets and went down the list of Spyders that they had done the interim fix on and...

2017 RT Battery Replaced - now to fit the accessories

Doolittle, you are a better man than me. I replaced my battery fall a year ago, and I fought my hold down for the batter part of an hour and gave up. To add insult to injury, the battery died on the morning that my wife and I were going to ride down to Wimberly TX from Austin. Imagine me trying...

What bike did you ride to get your motorcycle license ??

Ron, my wife would totally agree with you. After the White Elephant stranded us for (I think) the fifth time, she refused to get on it ever again. The ultimatum was "get rid of it and buy a Gold Wing". Fortunately, we got our current ride, and it has been flawless for five years. Sometimes we...

What bike did you ride to get your motorcycle license ??

1966 Honda CB 160, bought new with my own (very hard earned) money. At age 15, $500 was a heck of a lot of money. Next was a 1966 BSA Lightning bought in 1972 for $650. It needed a fair amount of work to get it roadworthy. And of course, it had Lucas electrics, "The Prince Of Darkness", which...

    Front Sprocket Correction at Dealership

JimH, your BS meter with this dealer should be in the flaming red zone. If they don't know that there was a front sprocket recall, something is SERIOUSLY wrong. And I agree with Mike about the metallurgy of the new sprocket.

Call out Video to Can Am On Road

Well, given the fact that a Harley Tri Glide Ultra STARTS at $36,500, and a Sea to Sky STARTS at $31K, the S2S would seem to be more attractive given that the Spyder is a reverse trike, which as we all know is inherently more stable, as well as much safer, than a traditional trike. I'm perfectly...

Motorcycle Dave here with a Drivers License question

When I moved back to Texas from Connecticut in 2021 both my DL & MC endorsement transferred with no problem. No testing. I passed the eye exam be repeating what the guy in front of me recited. I did have to jump through all of the hoops again for the Real ID, which TX did not recognize from CT...
