• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for suggestions on where you mounted your Ram ball on 2020+ RT

Exactly what I did. Works great & no vibration.I like it a lot. My only issue - which has nothing to do with the Tackform - is that my phone gets really hot and the display goes black, which is a pita as I use it for navigation. I have an idea for a shield using 1/4" white opaque plexiglass. Buy...

Shout out to Tackform customer service.

I had a similar experience with LidLockx. The barrel of one crap**ed out after 4 years, called them to get a new one, fully prepared to pay for it. They asked me for the key number and sent me two barrels keyed to match the originals and refused to take my money and shipped them to me for free.

Android Auto/Apple Carplay standalone mountable display, pretty slick

Maybe tell us the actual name of the unit and post a link? And I see you have it mounted on the top of the dashboard, so what did you mount it to and where did you purchase it?

Is there a Factory Battery Tender Plug on 2014 RT Spyders?

:agree: I did the same thing on my 2013 RTL & on my current 2017 RTS. Easiest mod you will ever make.

How do you explain what riding is like?

Lucky for me, when my wonderful bride of 45 years wants to take a road trip, she wants to do it on the Spyder. Man, I love that woman!:shemademe_smilie:

Riddle of The Keys - only unlocks ignition, not trunk - Ideas?

I bought a blank from RideNow Austin and they could not cut it. Most dealers probably wont. Took it to my local locksmith who I trust a lot more than Home Depot, Lowes, etc. They cut it, then the dealer (not RideNow) programmed it for free since I was buying a new tire from them. Took a little...

What is the best way of wearing glasses with a modular full face helmet?

I find that with my modular w/flip up I put on the helmet, put on my glasses, then close the visor. My glass stay put where I want them. Much easier for me than tring to put them on with the visor down, could never get them in the right place.

Check out the F-3 at 122 mph!

I noticed that at 2:37 in the banked curve that he had his left arm tucked in. Still way faster than I would ever want to go. Kudos to him.

Don't put off that Routine Maintenance!

That's just sheer laziness. Abuse your ride and sooner or later it will bite you in the a**, and deservedly so.

Anyone built an RT622 Trailer Kick stand?

If you go with the CanAm stand, you should install a trailer hitch pin to keep it up on the tongue when travelling. The dinky spring thingy that comes with the stand doesn't hold it up. I found this out on a road trip when I stopped for gas, the stand was dragging on the pavement, and I had to...

Front Sprocket Recall - Dealer Won't Release Spyder to Owner

Your BS meter should be off the scale. I'm somewhat surprised that you did not know about this recall. You should have received a letter from BRP around last May informing you of the recall, which is a two part process; (1) The interim fix, and (2) Installation of the new sprocket. This process...

    Ouch!!

It did appear to me that the right front tire & wheel was wonky. (Woke)? The really sad thing is that a beautiful car is now worth considerably less money. The owner may not have necessarily wanted to ever sell it, but because of the idiot unloader, the value of the car is greatly reduced. Can't...
