• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Stranded! Spyder loses power, stops, & won't start. Any ideas?

Well, as it turned out, there was A LOT of water in the gas. Dealer flushed the fuel system, changed the fuel filter, and put in the same amount of gas (no water) that was in the tank when I dropped it off. While they had it, I had them do my annual service and change the HCM filter. And, I got...

2024 RT Ltd display shuts off - back to dealer!

Hey Doug, do you think it's OK to use a higher amp smart charger than 1 or 2 amps? Amazon has quite a few that are 5, 6, 10, etc. Thanks, Dwight

Anyone else ever noticed how many really overweight guys ride Harleys?

Has anyone else ever noticed how many really overweight guys ride Harleys? As opposed to Spyders, which in 10 years of riding a Spyder I have noticed only a really small number of the same. Inquiring minds want to know.

Show Chrome has discontinued the Pre 20 fender lights

You are unfortunately right to be worried. Federal law dictates that motor vehicle manufacturers only have to provide parts support for 10 years after the MY of any vehicle, be it car or motorcycle. They can if they choose to, and some do. This is growing the remanufactured parts industry, more...

Stranded! Spyder loses power, stops, & won't start. Any ideas?

It is U0155. Sorry for the mixup. I've done no cluster work, and definitely no power washing. The cluster seems to be fine, no anomalies everything looks normal. The only glitch was the bike never went into limp mode, or at least that did not show up on the cluster. Hoping that it might only be...

Stranded! Spyder loses power, stops, & won't start. Any ideas?

Interesting. I'll check with the dealer on Tuesday and try to find out if that applies to a 2017 RT. Just curious: Did you bike throw the same U0155 code? Or are they maybe different for a 2021? Inquiring minds want to know.

    1330cc No start issue fixed

Interesting. I'll have to check for that recall to see if it applies to a 2017 RT.

Stranded! Spyder loses power, stops, & won't start. Any ideas?

Out running errands today, beautiful day, Spyder purring right along. After my third stop, I was pulling out of the parking lot and the engine started to stumble and lose power. Then it seemed to catch so I went on my merry way to Costco for gas. Turned into the parking lot and the bike died. I...

Where should I stick WA State's 'Good To Go!' pass?

I put my TxTag transponder, which is a large rectangle, on a ram mount on the handlebars. Works fine, easily put on & taken off so sticky fingers can't abscond with it. EDIT: If your tag is in fact a sticker, than obviously my method would not work for you.

Lone Ranger and the ''Peacebreaker" Exhaust!

Not for me. I like it quiet. More importantly, the wife would do mean things to if I put one of those on "our" Spyder.

Where to connect front USB plate: and part #'s needed for fuse covers?

Well, it is BRP, so one would expect it to be pricy.

Another set of Bad TricLED AfterBurnerz...

It would seem that TricLed quality has been suffering - and not in a good way - for some time now. A fair number of folks seem to be unhappy with their products for any number of reasons, including your issue. If it were me, demand a refund, not a replacement, which means you would get as a...

    Wow! Wicked fast internet

Yes, it would be much higher, up to 1Gbps with the plan that I have if my computer were hardwired, but since we us WiFi for all our devices, except the TV, the speed is significantly slower. Still, it is way faster than Spectrum, which we originally had, and AT&T Fiber, which is what I just...
