• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    power shift

I made a similar post approx 1-2 yrs ago on a 2015 F3's. I don't know why considering all the posts describing the transmission shift patterns-------But on my Stage 2 upgrade of the ECU---the problem is gone & the transmission wasn't touched. Thus for some reason the 1st to 2nd gear hesitation...

Concealed carry on a RT - which holster?

Nothing about firearms scare me more than someone who buys a handgun for protection, never goes to a range to fire it, or never fires it at all while thinking it may be their life saver. Call the ER, resident with bullet hole in their foot :-( I would never recommend a pistol to be used by the...

Concealed carry on a RT - which holster?

Jack---I've carried that spare tire for over 50 yrs. If i needed it--it might be a life saver--depending on the area that it's needed. Remember the song from the 60's---it's a strange-strange world we live in master Jack? & it appears to be getting stranger. If one is uncomfortable carrying a...

Concealed carry on a RT - which holster?

I have found that it is a waist of time to try to explain the value of a CCW until that person or friend of that person finds themselves desperately wishing they had one. I carry a spare tire & I can't remember the last time I needed it.

    Warning warning warning

Once upon a time I owned an automotive repair business named "Brake Express" in Santa Ana, Ca. We advertised low cost brake system flush & replaced with new fluid. On occasion we would get low end collector vehicles that were over 20 yrs old & never had the brakes system flush before. The...

    I guess I'm a motorcycle guy

I sold my 2 wheel bikes. I preferred them on everything except the 2-3 mph parking lot turning. I have vertigo & balance above 5 mph is no problem--I began to tip over in parking lot maneuvering--thus I bought the F3's. I also love a riding vehicle with a reverse & with saddlebags & frunk I...

    curve - blocked wheel

I have a 2015 F3's with multiple modifications--have driven pushing the limit on multiple curves. I have NEVER had any of the "Nanny" functions kick in & I'm very happy about it. Some of the above experiences would scare me.

    Speedometer inaccuracy

Land speed racing on a 1 mile airport track with a 132' timing trap at the end. On the top end several motorcycles showed 15 mph higher than actual timing trap speeds. 2 mph at highway speed is fairly close. Tire wear makes a significant difference. A few years ago--OK--several decades ago I...

    Warning warning warning

The brake fluid mnfg advise 12 month shelf life on an open container. So what happens if the reservoir is dirty & we open the top lid to check the actual volume of fluid :-(

Best ECU flash results ever for me

Dennis--did you time those accelerations with a Cat Delete or normal muffler like the Akraprovic straight shot muffler? Also did you delete any body work that might cause air resistance. On my F3's the windshild & saddle bags would slow the Spyder up in higher speeds. I'd like to see a few...

High pitched whine at 45 mph

My belt tension is at 130 on the Criket ;all wheels on the ground. I Believe high belt tension as in 200 will eventually cause a sprocket & gear shaft to fail . I have Q's as to why BRP suggest setting belt tension with the wheels off the ground---whenever I ride all wheels are on the ground &...

Best ECU flash results ever for me

If you want a 3 second 0-60 mph you will need some serious traction modifications. My stage 2 2015 F3's hits 4000 rpm & rear wheel spins to the 8600 rpm limit on blacktop.

    Emergency Release - Seat

If an emergency open was installed on the Frunk---wouldn't we loose the security of having a locked compartment for personal items? I have the 2015 F3's & have heard from a few people that they accidentally left their keys in their jacket pocket to Frunk before closing the lid.

    Midnight ride

I've been hit in the forehead by a big June Bug while I was riding 65 mph--It really hurt & I had a red lump the next day. Riding without eye protection would be very dangerous. Average weight of the male wild turkey is approx 20 lbs-----at 65 mph a 20 lb punch could render one...
