• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    CAT removal legality?

aka "jaherbst" Jack You were the only band member to show up on a motorcycle with a guitar strapped to it :-) I heard Aerosmith from the front 2nd row--my ears are still ringing d

    CAT removal legality?

I've seen mufflers--lifted & carried mufflers & the same with catalytic converters. I agree with what the book says it is, -but it is a catalytic converter--not a muffler. One more thing---I believe the Federal regulation requires new built vehicles to make an astounding 50 mpg in the year...

No More Cat Delete for Me

So you stuffed heat shield into the inside of the Cat Delete pipe?? Seems like the airflow would rearrange the stuffed pastern, or cause more restriction than the Cat itself. Has anything about the acceleration or noise that has changed over the last 200 miles??

    CAT removal legality?

There must be a big difference between the 2015 F3's & your Spyder Jack. Jack--have you had your hearing tested lately--you may have lost 50% of your decibels --or hearing is sound frequency as women can hear a higher frequency than men. Save your money on that new expensive stereo you've...

No More Cat Delete for Me

I must say I have never heard of an anti-reversion muffler & I read the article three times & still wondered how it effected the Spyder. Would this anti-reversion muffler be used With or Without a Cat or is it just for race vehicles that maintain a higher rpm on the track?? Almost all track...

Looking to purchase new 2018 F3 S this Saturday

Sounds great--I bought mine in 2015 with lots of options for me to install--chrome wheel--upgraded seats-etc-etc. Out the door I paid close to $26K probably sold $1500 of options I didn't need. Still a lot more than $18K--you did good. Darrell

No More Cat Delete for Me

Ron--I agree with you also--somehow find how much restriction is caused via the Cat & match it with a baffle--however the fix also needs to eliminate the annoying noise--it's at one of those frequencies that really irritate. The noise isn't bad at 45 mph but getting to 70 mph & above--just...

No More Cat Delete for Me

Exactly--I've hit 118 mph on a slow freeway day but that opportunity is very rare with possible negative results. 99.9% of my riding is in or close to posted speed limit especially since traffic won't allow other. Low end torque is big with me---thank you for your comment & also my neighbor...

No More Cat Delete for Me

I have the Stage 2 upgrade on a 2015 F3's. I initially tried the Cat Delete from one vendor with poor low end torque on the stock ECU. After the Stage 2 upgrade many had stated their performance was great. It's been very hot mid 90's degrees thus it may not be totally fair, But my 2015 F3's...

    Cat Delete one more time

I already had purchased one from Doc at Roadster Renovations--the one in my photo came with the cat delete pipe. But thanks anyway. Maybe I can hire 2 tow trucks & tie one to each spring hook :-)

Your hands--I bought an electric 2 pulley hoist to lift my 80 lb 2 person kayak that I modified with a car battery & trolling motor. I was flying with it the other day--I'm guessing 5-6 mph--always take an athletic gal with me--should the battery die--I need someone to paddle while I...

    Cat Delete one more time

After reading multiple posts from people with the Stage 2 upgrade claiming their torque off the line is great I decided to try it one more time. 1st time was with stock ECM. I got a great deal on the pipe, baffle, & spring hook. My only other expense will be hiring a tow truck to pull the...

    power shift

Your were correct--throttle wide open & pressing the shift lever is "Power Shifting" The hesitation between 1st & 2nd gear is caused by the ECU/ECM "Kill Delay" settings. BRP long delay was on the side of being over cautious .

Is this much Oil usage normal?

Welcome to the Forum. Lot's of great information - some not so great - just like any forum. It's always good to have different points of view & after a while you'll become more fond of some than others. It's all cool. I beat my 2015 F3's fairly hard but most are short distance rides. Mine...
