• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My Ryker 900 always leaks at the oil filter cap - what's going on?

Nobody has mentioned this yet. Even the Ryker is a dry sump engine, like the Spyder. Do not check the oil level cold, or you will overfill. I see you're a member since 2018, should have seen by now proper way to fill and check the oil level after running, then shut off, then check. There has...

Totally bonkers 'Miles to empty' on Can Am 2023 RTL - can it be fixed?

No need for a trip to a dealer, they won't be able to fix it. It's just a lazy computer factoring the MPG. Just use your trip meter to remember when to fill up. This issue has been reported a multitude of times. Even when you start back up, it might read and tell you something different, or it...

Any time limit on changing HCM filter during oil change? Is a 10 y/o filter good for a few more years?

Well, that HCM filter doesn't have a time limit, only a miles limit, unlike the oil - 9,300 miles or 1 yr. So I guess if you're worried about it, give it a change.

Is the Radiator vulnerable to damage?

Of course they are. Positioned down low for any debris to hit them. Aluminum or stainless steel construction of thin walled materials to aid in heat dissipation. Could get hit hard enough to cause a leak. Could get hit a little less of impact to slightly pinch or crush the small waterways.

In Memory of those Members who are now riding the Forever Road - RIP

Oh, in the other thread title the name given was AKspyderman, so I didn't know anyone by that name. But using ARtraveler, now I know. What a loss of his help and contributions to this site. Ride that forever road on your F3!!

Any thoughts on Ground clearance on the RTL?

It's Not called 'dark side' on Spyders, cause Spyder rims are J style, and car tires are J style bead. So they are a proper fit. Kenda tires are labeled "for special motorcycle use only" cause of their cheaper construction to NOT hold weight of a car!

What kind of milage should I expect from a Vredestein rear tire?

I think the odd groove styling on the Vdestrian, makes people think those grooves should criss cross. They don't, appearing to make center area look worn out. Do the Lincoln head penny trick, if you don't have a tire depth gauge

Leak comes and goes? Shop did not find it. Help???

with a pic that high up, showing leaking. might be the crack in the coolant bottle, connecting hose not fully tight, top coolant cap not fitted tight, or one of the hose clamps loose

Damaged a Rim on my F3L when we hit about a 4" rock that slid off of a rock wall by the road - afraid to ask what a new rim will cost!?!

May need to look at "A" arm too for that side that rim got bent. After a new rim and tire, take it to a place that does Rolo Laser alignments to check it. Might be OK as is, or a bit out of alignment

Is the Radio Reception on 2024 Spyder RT Limited's any good?

Since you already have a Sirius XM account, I think all you have to do is download the XM app to your smartphone. I play from my phone to my helmet headset. They have changed their plans to include smartphone playing at no additional cost. You would use your login to XM (username and password)...

Anyone have any good Headlight upgrade suggestions?

I got my LED's for my 2015 RTL from Lamonster. He has an install vid, and the little box fits inside housing with just a little adjustment with a Dremel. Guaranteed fit when you go with approved vendor.

What can I do to get a straight shot at the Rear Tire valve Stem?

The OEM valve stem is always on the sprocket side, unless you plug the OEM hole and drill a new hole in the brake side. The rim is NOT switchable, the tire has to be installed directional to start with. You can index the sprocket to get a space in between the spokes, I think there are 3...

Is the Radio Reception on 2024 Spyder RT Limited's any good?

I have Sirrus XM in the car and on my smart phone. These 2 streaming services used to be separate or you could add them together. But now they are together. If riding with your phone, it would use phone data. They might still have the small streaming unit. You can find info @ sirrusxm.com

Can anyone with a Big Blue Lift provide advice on my lifting issues?

searching "big blue" get 10 pages of comment. Some posts talk about removing right floorboard, of bolting to lift to frame, and an adapter on the lift to lift a RT.

Looking at a 2020 Spyder - is this high mileage? Any thoughts?

That's a real good price for only 5 yrs old. Could it be a Spyder base? That would be no top case, instead of RTL? Miles not problem, but ask does it throw any codes consistently, any recalls done? Take the VIN to a dealer to run and see if anything pops up.
