• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    New exhaust system

I just swapped the muffler. It's almost 15 pounds lighter than the stock behemoth! Nice sound too. .... like a well tuned 60's sports car.(?) Only about a 1 hour job. It is a "glass-pac" muffler that has gotten a bit louder with the 3,000 miles I have on it; but still quite pleasant. Good Luck.

Accurately getting 15 psi into tires

:agree:Same here PW! I use it on my Specialized E-bike as well. It does take a lot of pumps to increase a front tire by 2psi though.:gaah:

What Hobbies do you have other than the Spyder?

Music; I still toodle on my clarinet and saxophones occasionally; Vintage Country Music; Electric Bicycle rides in my local neighborhoods; HO gauge electric train board in one of my garages; my hot-rod club activities; gardening; hanging out with my "old fart friends" at the local coffee shop.

Getting ready to attempt belt alignment

:lecturef_smilie: Depending on when I check it; my belt is often in a different place than it was when I left the house; especially if I've used Reverse gear to back it into the garage; or drove it straight in. Never any noises or rubbing sounds coming from the belt or sprockets. It's not that...

Is there a Hill Hold feature on my 2019 RTL?

:firstplace: I carry a pair of these in the Frunk, and use them whenever I park on an uphill or down hill spot. Very effective and affordable from Amazon. They are the bomb! Check it out.:yes...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Replaced brake pads on our 2014 RTL last weekend. 4 hours from start thru test ride. Use parts I got from BajaRon. Old pads not too worn out; but noisy on stops. Nice and smooth and quiet now. Gave me a chance to really give the front wheels a good cleaning/shining. Also: finally bought a nice...

Brand new Spyder RT rider needs an answer!

:cheers:I use ""Can Am 3-wheel motorcycle" most of the time when asked by strangers. To my friends that know me, I'll say I went for a RIDE on my Trike or 3 wheeler. For my electric assisted bicycle, I use "E-Bike". English IS truly strange some times. :agree:

How many wrestling fans are here?

:bowdown:My dad, me, and my brother loved Ray Stevens! Say him wrestle at the SF Cow Palace a few times. He was a M/C rider as well. Used to see him up at the hill climes/jumps above Castro Valley in the mid-60s. I believe he coined the term "Pencil-Neck" when referring to his opponents. What a...

    Rear tire air valve

It was out at the edge because I had to move the bike backwards to put it into the best spot for a photo. Belt changes position from forward to reverse. I knew someone would comment on that. No problem. No problems.
