• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking at Running/Fog Lights - Which do you recommend? Which LED & Fog Light kit?

Super bright lights should be aimed properly to avoid the above IMO, unless you are referring to "off road use" lighting or in our case, only used when there is no one on the road with you. On a side note, it's always bugged me (even as a rider) how motorcycles seem to ride with their high...

What are you paying for insurance? Who are you insured with?

My yearly premium for my Spyder is $209. I have full coverage and a $250 deductible. I have a few things helping me, multiple vehicle discount, claim free, and no driving history or tickets. I guess I'll see what it will be in November when it's time to renew....

Instrument Cluster Screen Protector - Does one exist?

The bezel does come off (4 screws). I had the whole thing (housing, bezel and cluster) out a short time ago - when installing a protector would have been easy-peezy. Getting it to all fit back the way it came out was a PIA, not sure I'm up for that again real soon. lol

Is Lamonster Windshield Cleaner still available? What else won't hurt the windshield?

Very good question! I was wondering myself. I like simple. When I bought my new car in January, I wanted a simple yet effective cleaning solution and regiment, and after hours of "research" I settled on this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C2F8VJHG/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza?th=1 This does a...

Refusal to look at my 2015 RT-S by a Can Am Dealer!

Can-Am Spyder and "rapidly changing technology" are not two words I would use with the same meaning. Our Spyder's have been the basic same shape and tech since what....2014? 2015? :dontknow: Besides, any Can-am garage worth its salt should be able to diagnose a bad relay. I know I could and...

DID Make My Mind up! - Big D's Mighty Red Baron has Arrived!

I'll throw my 2 cents here even though I am not as old and relatively "young" for the demographic. At 55, I need two new knees and have had back surgery, so I have some of the same issues you have. For me, coming from a "sport-like Bike" (Kawasaki Z900) to a Spyder F3S (Gotta stay sporty! :D )...

Has anyone purchased a 2024 F3S? Do they still come with the rear cowl?

Based on what I see below: No. https://can-am.brp.com/on-road/us/en/shopping-tools/customize-your-own/3-wheel-vehicles/spyder-f3.html When the 2023 listing was active on the web site, it was very clearly listed. Not anymore. Ask your dealer, but I would say most likely that is an expensive...

    Long signature blocks - request

Sour grapes? LOL. :p I was simply making a joke. I have better things to do than to be part of what I perceive as a problem. I learned a long time ago not to read too much into messages as the intent can easily be misinterpreted.

'24 F3 Customer Accessory Circuits don't match manual - splice into them or... ??

Any update on this from the OP? Curious minds would like to know what you found out! And the rest are peeved that you likely got a resolution, but didn't take the time to share it after asking for help. :lecturef_smilie:

What have you done for Heated Gear Wiring, inc Location - '20+ RT's?

To the OP or anyone with experience in the matter, how much current draw does heated gear need that you're hooking it directly to the battery, or are adding fuse blocks? What are you looking at- 2A? 5A? 10A? I intend to ride later into the fall season and heated gear is looking like a good...

How to disable DESS using BUDS? Any Step-by-Step Procedures?

So this thread converted me. I'd sure like to buy generic keys and future proof my Spyder of any DSS issues. Anyone in OHIO and how much does this typically cost? I have an appointment with my dealer this weekend for the mirror recall and will ask, but I doubt they can or will do it.

Shout out to LaMonster - so glad for my Lamonster® F3 Brake Rod!

I hope this doesn't break any forum rules - but I have something to say... I rode my new F3-S today for the first time and was so glad I recently purchased the Lamonster® F3 Brake Rod! This is not a paid promotion, I paid full price and shipping...

    2024 F3L - where are the fog lights? IS this a 2024?

I can't speak for the 2024 model year, but for my 2023 (and older model years), the aftermarket has some very nice options that are better and much cheaper than the Can Am OEM offerings. The OEM kit uses incandescent bulbs and are as bad as the stock headlamp color of older models. I...

Looking at Running/Fog Lights - Which do you recommend? Which LED & Fog Light kit?

Here is the link to what I bought. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08GS4QTZN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They have been on my Z900 for over a year with zero issues. They are very small, a requirement for my Z900. If I can, I will post a short video showing the light...

Looking at Running/Fog Lights - Which do you recommend? Which LED & Fog Light kit?

I will have to respectfully disagree with some of the above comments regarding color temp. Arguably, the best visibility would be during the day in the bright midday sun. Logic would then tell me that if I wanted this level of clarity and visibility, I would want a color temp and intensity to...

Review: Install and first impression for Lidlox (helmet handlebar lock)

My wife read this and now I'm not allowed to add this to her Ryker.... lol I wish my helmet would fit in the frunk... that's all I would need. It's just a little too shallow to fit my Scorpion. If I had ability to scan and injection mold, I would redesign a few parts to make a drop-in...
