• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Maybe Spring is upon us ???

Here on the west coast we’ve had more than a few real good rains. Salt doesn’t seem to be an issue.

Maybe Spring is upon us ???

Well, tomorrow is supposed to be officially, the First Day of Spring. Yesterday, we hit a high temperature of 18°C or 64.4°F and today they say we’ll get up to 15°C or 59°F. Maybe, just maybe Spring is upon us. My fingers are crossed,

I made the little guys day

I agree with Pegasus 100%. Whenever possible I always wave to the kids (teens not so much). I also slow right down whenever passing mothers walking with, or pushing a stroller and 90% of the time I get a thank you wave in return. It cost me nothing and helps the general public appreciate the...

Bugs !@#$@# What will get them off?!

When I look on Amazon, I do not find Peroxide, but what I do find is Hydrogen Peroxide. Is that what you’re referring to?

Interesting news out of BRP on electrification.

As things are right now, it would seem that electrification for any recreational vehicle is NOT PRACTICAL. However, on the news today they announced that a NEW type of battery was being LOOKED AT (no hint as to why or what was new). Within 5 years, who knows what a “battery” can power or for...

Love it or hate it - you be the judge

Sorry Martin, not my “Cup of Tea” nor my bottle of single malt scotch! Wish you all the best though.

Once again, BRP didn't show up for Daytona Bike Week!!

ARt...... have you watched the TV news lately? They seem to partially quote as well as misquote regularly. Just sayin

What did you do to your Spyder today?

That’s the setup I have on my ‘14 RTS, and I love it. Hope that it “works” for you!

Which General rear tire for Spyder F3S?

Put the same tire on my ‘14 RTS last year. Didn’t put any “goop” in tire nor any weights outside. My unit runs smooth as silk. BK says rear doesn’t need to be balanced, and my RTS says he’s right. jmho

We get great customer service from the vendors here; dealers, not so much!

Title says “Dealers Not So Much”. I have to disagree to this statement, at least to my Dealer. GVPS here in Chilliwack. Excellent dealer, excellent service, very knowledgeable and WILLING TO LISTEN to what you tell them. My experience at least. Thank you GVPS!

What’s your best memory/story (so far) with your Spyder/Ryker ??

Not limited to, but including all of my rides on my Spyder, on my VTX, on my Goldwings, on my Virago and going way, way back on my Royal Enfield have been memorable and great. To my way of thinking, my last ride was my greatest, and always will be. I just L O V E the wind in my face therapy...

Here's a Website of Locations for Ethanol Free Gas...

Can’t answer that Ron..... political stuff is NOT ALLOWED. You’re allowed to “bear arms” and we’re allowed to “bear a cross” (or is that getting too close to religion?).

Here's a Website of Locations for Ethanol Free Gas...

Ron, I don’t know where you’re getting your information from, but I can still purchase ethanol-free gasoline from Chevron, all be it only the 94 octane, but it is still readily available.

Need a better place to put Battery Tender lead - Ideas?

My dealer installed a plug-in wire under my seat. 90% of rhw time, I have sticking out enough to see and use right in front of me. Great place to plug in my electric vest, and then when I get home I plug in my maintainer. Works for me!

    Thinking of buying a 2014 Spyder RT-S - Belt align/tension issues?

67,000 kms plus on my 2014 and I’ve never worried about belt tension.....I just get on my unit and ride without even thinking about belt tension. I also have FOBO2 and don’t worry about tire pressure. My FOBO will alert me if there is a catastrophic problem. I check pressures with the FOBO...

Can I turn on/off FOBO 2 running in the background on my phone?

. Sounds to me like you’re having more problems than the FOBO. My 4 y/o iPhone still lasts for 2 days (even with Fobo running in the background). Time for a new phone, or at least a new battery in it? Just my $0.02.

    Engineering Idiocy

I totally agree with you Blue. I would like to be able to do these things myself, but as the age of 80 is just weeks away, i have to rely on the expertise of my dealer (and he is one of the good ones) for even the “small” jobs. Ahhh THE GOLDEN YEARS!

Things to look for & ask about on a 2014 RT Limited?

To my way of thinking, that is waaay over-priced. My ‘14 has 67,000 kms on it, and I’d be hard pressed to get $16,000 Cdn for it (although I certainly don’t know the current market). Mine is running great, just eating my ready cash in farkles. I’d try very hard to talk him down.
