• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone given their Spyder a "Name"???

I’m thinking that’s a bit of a misnomer, at least as far as I’m concerned. My RTS is not a money pit. However, I am, with all of the farkles that I think that I NEED. Other than maintenance, my Spyder has not cost me anything. It’s actually great right out of the box... then comes MY farkles...

    Random thought for the day

Yes, we sure did...not only getting up to change the channel, but going outside to repoint the antenna. We received 2 1/2 channels. CBUT out of Vancouver BC, KVOS out of Bellingham Wash., and KCTS (sometimes) out of Tacoma Wash. then we needed another antenna to sometimes get KOMO and KING...

What's causing this Wobble while braking?

It took me at least 1,000 miles before I was “comfortable” on the Spyder. Give it time, and keep on and practice, practice, practice. As for the tires.....new tires are not that expensive, but your well being is... I would NOT fool around. Replace! Just my humble opinion....do what you think...

What is the best way of wearing glasses with a modular full face helmet?

I don’t wear a modular, BUT, if I did, I’m a rider who MUST wear glasses 100% of the time, so.......put glasses on first thing in the morning, after my shower and go about my day. Going for a ride? With glasses ON, put on helmet. If you must take your glasses off to put on your helmet, for my...

    Your First One....

For me it was a 1949 Royal Enfield 500cc one lunger. Kick start only, no battery. Had a decompression lever, as well as a spark advance lever. It wasn’t the speediest of bikes. I was passing a hot rod who decided to play games. He matched my speed so I could not get past or get back in...
