• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Will the 1330 engine adjust based on gas octane changes?

I agree.......up to a point. BRP did not use these engines to make more money for the gas companies, nor did they recommend 91 octane for the gas companies. Yes, your Spyder seems to run just fine on 87 octane, BUT the recommended octane is 91, so I’m back to using that, but if it is not...

Recommend any luggage racks for pre 2020 RT's? What covers still fit?

Once I installed the rack on my ‘14 RTS I was unable to find a cover to fit. On trips, I’ve been parking overnight without. I do remove all items from the bike though. No problems yet, and it has been 5+ years. I have the rack that sits on an angle.

Is there a reason people seemingly don't research correct prices?

and do you think the prices that the HD owners at asking are much better? How about the prices for a used HD trike, or GW trike? All the pricing or eventual price paid is based on supply and demand. As new prices go higher, so do used prices.

Will Charging the Camper's Battery off my Spyder overload the Alternator

First off, I’m sure not an automotive electrician not would I attempt be one, hence, I would not attempt to try this. I’m almost positive that you’re headed for problems with your Spyder. Secondly, although the solar panel sounds good, I doubt if you would get enough power out of it to do much...

    Tire report (rear) Forceum 225/60/r15

Mike, I’m almost 100% sure that the only difference between U.S. and Canadian Spyders was/is the use of metric for the dash and wording in the manual.

Are the Ultimate seats a good buy?

That’s the combination that I’m using. For me, it’s not perfect but is a lot better than just the bare bones seat.

Are the Ultimate seats a good buy?

A decade ago, I purchased an Ultimate seat for my Honda 1300 VTX, and as it has been noted, it was pricey. When it arrived, I anxiously installed it and took it for a ride. What a waste of a bunch of money (don’t remember how much). It looked pretty on the bike, but didn’t do anything for me...

Ever taken the ferry between South Baymouth, Ontario, and Tobermory?

It’s been 3 years since I was last on a ferry here in BC. That was on the vessel doing the “inside passage” going from Prince Rupert to Vancouver Island and there were no special requirements (tie downs) for 2 wheel or 3 wheel vehicles. They provided us with wheel chalks that we were...
