• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    RT vs F3 shock length?

Thank you. My stock RT shocks are 19-3/4 c2c. I guess I will just put the stock shocks back on. I hate my Elkas. I think the stock shocks on the 2021s ride better.

    RT vs F3 shock length?

Does anyone know if the shock length is the same on the RT and F3? I want to get rid of my Elkas and switch to Fox shocks. Maybe someone could measure their F3 shock(bolt center to bolt center) if they have a set laying around. Thanks in advance.

Shop time for no Reverse - The long wait is almost over!

I feel your pain also. I have had parts on order from CheapCycleParts for 4 months. They keep pushing back the expected date. Luckily its not critical parts. Just some changes I want to make to my S2S. My new date is 1/18/22. So hopefully it will ship next week, but I wouldnt bet on it.

My 2021 S2S has a rocking stereo now!

There is no separate amp in the 2016 RT. Totally different system than the one on my 2021RT. I do not know of any way to add an amp to that radio without major surgery. You would need to intercept the signal to each speaker and add an amp in between. I upgraded the speakers on my 2014 and it...

998cc Brass shavings in engine oil

If the knock wasnt the engine, then I doubt the "shavings" are of any concern. There will be some sparkley particles in the oil from the clutch lining. Get an oil sample tested. Cheap and best way to know if its something serious.

Australia RT mirrors - anyone got part numbers?

Show Chrome turn signals I have these and I highly recommend them. they look factory when installed and are very bright. I considered the BRP mirrors and lights, but the cost wasnt worth it and would require custom wiring anyway.

    Squealing noise when turning steering

My 2014 did that. The battery was getting weak. A new battery and the squeel went away.

Has anyone disassembled the 2020 RT fairing(?) to get behind dash?

I have done it. Not too difficult. I found the hardest part was removing the windshield plate. Once you get that off, there is a screw behind each mirror and one pushpin behind the plate below the headlights. But, I have also had no problem running wires in that area without removing it...

Need a New battery - what type: Lead Acid, AGM, Gel?

I have a lithium battery in my Spyder and it works fine. There is no special charging system/alternator needed on a vehicle to maintain a lithium battery. The only special charger you need is a lithium battery maintainer for storage. I use Battery Tender brand maintainer that has a selection...

Just when you think you've read it all !

I dont see this as a political thread at all. Police officers are not political figures. This is simply a thread about common sense, morals, and respect for those who risk their lives to help and protect us.

You dont have to mount it where you can see the screen. Just hide the unit under the black body panel on the left side.

    2021 Outside Temp Gauge Issue

On the 2021+ RT, the sensor is located under the front right side body panel next to the hood. You can move it to a better location. There is some extra length to the wire. The sensor is black with 2 wires and clipped to the frunk framework.

    BRP Engineers - I wonder if their ears burn . . . ?

I fought with that stupid spring for an hour and gave up. Only 2 springs on mine. I will have to try the paracord idea. I just ran out of patience that day. It wasnt too bad putting the springs on the cat delete, but I have put the cat back on and added an Akrapovic muffler. It was too loud...

Who is a former Goldwing rider?

I had a 2002. I loved that bike! It was a rocketship!!! And so comfortable! It was customized and awesome with tons of lights at night. I only sold it because I could occasionally smell anti-freeze and was not able to locate the source because access to the top of the motor was so...

Does anyone have pics or video on how to install accessory fuse block in 2021 RTL??

its very easy to install(at least for me it was). The plug simply plugs into the harness connector under the passenger seat. Run the wires up to the front of the bike. I laid my fuse block in the area under the headlights. Then there is a positive and ground that go directly to the battery...
