• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tired of the sissy wave by other riders

panzy wave Sounds like trolling; Where I live we have a little of everything from weekend seat huggers to hard core club chapters. They all get the same 'left hand down' either open-palm or index-finger pointing down as a "wave" since I can remember. The only reason those two are the "signals"...

    Never order from https://can-am-shop.brp.com/

My only interaction with BRP directly was a call I made to find out about something that 5 dealers couldn't or wouldn't answer. The people at corporate were so rude as to be just about to the point of being arrogant. I finally had to cut off the conversation so I wouldn't drop into merchant...

Extended rear seat done - what do you think?

That seat looks far more comfortably sized! That kit looks like a great add-on for 2-up riding. It looks like you did a good job installing it. Was there anything about it that was challenging to install?

    Just posting some pics!

I rode my 2021F3LTD over the mountain and back and I have two lovely chips in the Magma Red to show for it. I can't imagine how paranoid I'd be to ride around with that detailed a graphics job on my bike. I'd have to restrict it to bike shows, which means I'd start turning a lot of that matte...

Anyone modified an a/mkt Driver Backrest for extended rearward travel? 2017 F3T

If the main 'spine' piece is at an angle such that it just doesn't allow you to sit back far enough, it wouldn't take much to heat it while in a vise and just give it a bit of persuasion and you should be able to reduce the static angle by a few degrees which should translate into more 'sitback'...

Hey Ya'll We Got A New Member! Lets welcome Edgeman55 to SL

Welcome to the forums! Having spent as many years on 2 wheelers, I can say without reserve that it's a different animal to get used to, but I am thoroughly enjoying the experience so far! If you're looking for others out your way, look up VegasCharlie, another newcomer to the forum. Maybe you...

Thank, Copper. I'm already learning a few things, and I've also posted a few pics of the first mods (easy stuff, but makes the bike a little more pleasurable to ride). As soon as I can find a reputable shop, I'll go after the next group... Interesting choice of slip - 'frum' ... was that...

Welcome to the forums! How are you finding the transition from 2 to 3 wheels? I had to make the switch after 50 years due to a couple of bad falls on 2 wheelers off-roading (KTM 890 ADV R). Thrown twice - once onto my knees and the 2nd time the bike landed on the inside of my knee. I couldn't...

Welcome to the forums! Is 'petrol metallic' that deep steel blue color?? That color is mad cool! I've been on 2 wheelers for 50 years and I can tell you that this is a different animal to get used to, but is very rewarding to ride.

Welcome to the forums! And +1 for CopperSpyder's comment. There are a lot of smart folks here on the various boards. If you go through the "shop talk" sub areas, pick the one that is most relative to your Spyder (your intro didn't mention year, model, or trim. If you really don't know, it's easy...

Anyone added pushbutton or toggle switches to their Spyder?

I was considering adding a bank of marine grade, lighted pushbutton switches to my F3. With nowhere to mount them, I thought I'd just cut out a space in one of the top panels. When I asked BRP service shops about this, half just said "it can't be done" and the other half wanted to burn me at the...

Anyone seen or used Arboreal Systems Neutrino Aurora Plus?

Thanks, Pete! I'm looking forward to getting. Dan (CEO, Arboreal) says they'll be back in full swing as of the first week in June 22. I didn't think about adding my GPS to it - that's a cool idea! On my last 3 bikes (2 wheeler HD) I just wired it to the switched power circuit on the canBUS.

Anyone seen or used Arboreal Systems Neutrino Aurora Plus?

Thanks for the reply. The Aurora+ is already pretty pricey. That Apogee system is supposed to be upwards of $1,000USD! But it does seem to respond to a basic OVERSIGHT by BRP - WHERE can you mount aux light swtich banks on a Can Am? I went to 5 different shops with so-called factory authorized...

OEM(?) F3 windshield - is this adjustable or not?

Of course it''s adjustable - ON and OFF... LOL - Sorry, I had to throw that in... I have that windscreen on my stock 21 F3Ltd. It is definitely NOT adjustable on mine. The recurve does push a certain amount of air up, but if you're over 5'10", it won't help. I'm 6' and I get it right in the...

New Member - First Post. My 21 F3L Project

So far, it's a hole I'm throwing money in, but Im at least now able to ride. Once I find a shop I can trust i'll have a few other items added (I can't get my Neutrino until June)... Have you been up to the rally in New Hampshire?

And you as well! I LOVE that color!! I may never understand BRPs choice of naming their colors. I'd swear yours is a burnt orange, and mine is actually closer to Harley orange in sunlight, and yet it is called 'Magma Red' ... LOL.

New Member - First Post. My 21 F3L Project

Tareyton I get that feeling. I rode mostly 1000+ cc bikes with a few exceptions (my first bike - 69 Bonneville 650 chopped, purchased from a "bike club' member at 15)... The Spyder is a very different ride, but I'm slowly getting comfortable with it. I don't think I'm quite ready for the dragon...
