• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

NO Canyon Demo's at Daytona Bike Week - VERY Disappointed In BRP!

I remember a local dealership having a Can Am Demo Day back when COVID was going on and bikes, cars, etc. were in short supply. They had one RT and 2 Rykers on demo, but no new F3 series. I say no new F3 series because they did have one F3T for them to demo - It was the 2016 F3T that I had sold...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Going to be around 70 today tomorrow, Thursday, and Saturday. Gonna take the wife's spyder out today, just to keep the battery charged and check my post office box. I have a jobsite meeting Thursday, so I will be riding my RT. Not sure what I will do Saturday, but i will be riding somewhere...

What are the tinting options on a stock windshield?

I had a F4 windshield that I purchased used and it was clear. I didn't like the look so I used some plastic dip and did a nice little tint job on the lower portion. It came out really great. For some reason it says the file is too large and i cannot upload the picture here.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Cool! I met KD while I was gearing up for a ride. He had to slow down for a car to turn into the park across the street from my house. At the time we had just bought Suzuki M109. When he pulled off I knew exactly what type of bike it was. I hopped on my bike and took off in the direction that...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

He will be on his 2020 RTL, that is the key reason I am leaning towards the Spyder. As with any planned ride, I don't count the people going until the day of the ride, at the meet up location. We have been riding together since we met in 2008, so he is very dependable, but you never know. Tire...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Ordered a new rear tire and an oil change kit from Lamonster for my 2021 RTL. Getting it prepared for the cross country trip that my buddy and I are doing in May. I am super excited. Still not 100% sure I will be taking the spyder. There is still a small possiblity that I will be doing this...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Replaced the original battery in my 2016 F3L Special Series. This battery has only been using a tender for the past 6-8 months, after it started to turn slow if not ridden over a 3 week period. I gotta say, 9 years was a very good run. Especially considering I have just replaced the battery...

What do you think of these Ramps for loading a Spyder onto an aluminum utility trailer?

2dogs, I agree with your idea of drilling a hole and using some sort of pin, bolt, or nail. That is what I did to my modified trailer when I have hauled my spyder. I used it twice for my F3T and recoved a buddies RT when he broke down. It worked great.

At what RPM do you shift on a 988 RSS for mileage

I had a 2012 RSS with the SE5 transmission. I was able to get about 35 mpg out of it. I did not rev the pi$$ out of it. This was my first semi auto transmission in the spyder world.

Planning a Pacific Coast Highway trip - looking for suggestions

I am thinking about that also. We will be doing the PCH during parts of the month of June. Keeping track of things as best as possible to see how we might have to alter our plans.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Looked at my spyder in the garage last night and only dreamed about riding as I recover from this terrible flu that I picked up between Christmas and New Years. Also planning my cross country trip to begin in May of this year. Still trying to decide whether to use the spyder or my new scoot...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Installed a Spyder Extras seat brace (or bracket) on my 2021 RTL to keep the front seat up when refueling. It is a shame that BRP didn't get something as simple as the seat shock correct. So far the one for the rear trunk still works, but according to all my friends, it is only a matter of time.

Wow, looks like we gonna need a filter to filter out the filter.;)

5 MOTORCYCLES THAT ARE NOTORIOUSLY EXPENSIVE TO MAINTAIN

As it was said, anything made by man is going to have flaws. Yes, it can get expensive, but it is just something that we have to deal with when dealing with materialistic items. I have noticed a drop in quality over the past 3-4 years, but I am still happy with my choice and would make it all...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Well, first mod for my spyder in a few months. Put a set of grip puppies that I won at a drawing at spyder adventures in 2023. They feel awesome. I actually won 2 pair, so I will be putting the second pair on my new (to me) scoot, a 2019 BMW K1600B. I sold my 2018 exactly a year ago and...

Just returned from a Route 66 ride - Fantastic Trip!

My buddy and I are leaving on the monday following Memorial day weekend. We will be doing parts of RT 66 on our way to the west coast. Maybe we will see you out there.

Planning a Pacific Coast Highway trip - looking for suggestions

We are in the process of planning a trip that will get in both. We are starting from NC and heading West. We will be doing a lot of Rt 66 and plan on getting over to the West Coast Hwy and heading North. Not sure how far North, but then we will work our way back to NC. Our time frame is +/- 6...

2024 Spyder RT LTD Windscreen Not Working!? What am I doing wrong?

:agree: it would make sense for the windshield control to be on the handlebars, but it is not. I did like the location for this much better on the earlier models.

    Test Drove A Goldwing Trike

I have never ridden one, but I can see it being just as you described. The one that I would like to drive is the Stallion with the 2.3L ford engine and steering wheel. I am guessing that it is the same way.

    Plane for sale

I think for that price, they could at least throw in a couple of air to surface missles.
