• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Planning a Pacific Coast Highway trip - looking for suggestions

That looks pretty cool. I've always wanted to take a scenic train trip in a sleeper car.

Planning a Pacific Coast Highway trip - looking for suggestions

True, but PCH is one of the most beautiful scenic drives in the country, if not the world.

Any Full Synthetic oils that DON'T have issues with clutch slipping? RS V-twin motor

Not a Spyder, but I road raced a Legends car for 10 years. They ran Yamaha XJ-1200 engines, which were air/oil cooled, and the car weight w/ driver was about 1,300 lbs. Mine made about 120hp on a chassis dyno. The only clutch mods were adding a full plate in place of the thin one; and replacing...

    I got clotheslined!

People said I was lucky to survive getting shot. I tell them I'd have been truly lucky if he'd missed. It could've been a lot worse, glad you're okay.

Is there a Third Brake Light I can install on F3T Luggage Rack?

That looks like a generic stop light from Amazon or eBay could work. My F3S has a brake light controller under the seat that combines brake and turn signals for the multi-function taillights. The input of that module has separate brake and turn signals where you can pick up a brake only source.

Bummed out waiting for a part

My Dad sold power equipment, appliances and the like. I worked for him after school. Numerous times we'd rob a part off a showroom model to get a customer going, and replace it when the part came in. That's just good customer service, something that's, unfortunately, rare these days.

Bummed out waiting for a part

There are several online vendors using this same catalog format. It's very handy for finding a part number quickly. Most of them seem to be dealers that also do online sales. Here are a couple I found. https://www.canamoemparts.com/ https://www.canampartshouse.com/

Is it possible to do a DIY reflash on an F3?

I'll post my impressions when I get the chance to run some tunes. It might be a while, it's below freezing outside right now. :yikes:

Anyone tried wearing prescription goggles under a full helmet? Recommendations?

I bought my wife and I Sena Outrush R helmets. These include Bluetooth communications, integrated sunvisor, and have slots in the interior that accommodate glasses pretty well. They do run a little small, I ended up returning my large for an XL, and my wife went from a small to a medium, but...

Is it possible to do a DIY reflash on an F3?

I just ordered a PV3 from Fuel Moto. They have a great promotion going this week, and they offer tunes and support when you buy from them. Hope we get some warmer days to try out some tunes.

Anyone here added an oil pressure gauge? What gauge, & where?

Another member asked about this, so here are links to the parts I used. https://order.ebay.com/ord/show?orderId=20-12191-56960&purchaseOrderId=20-1219-156959#/ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CT8S9XFJ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title The transducer mounts in the oil pressure test port at the...

Oil Pressure Warning light stays off before cranking, normal or not?

Thanks BCNewell. I searched a few ads with video, and that's the behavior I've seen in a few other F3's of similar vintage. It just seems odd that the warning light would not be on before starting, when there's obviously zero oil pressure. Every other vehicle I have seen with idiot lights has...

Anyone here added an oil pressure gauge? What gauge, & where?

Pics of my gauge installation. I don't particularly like digital gauges, but I wanted something unobtrusive. This one is inexpensive, water resistant, and looks decent on the bike. I milled a flat spot on the handlebar mount, drilled and tapped countersunk holes and used flathead SS screws to...

Help Needed - F3 Air Intake Modification

Wouldn't drilling holes there let more hot air into the airbox? And most filters flow from the outside in, so that would let unfiltered air bypass the filter.

Help with adjusting belt tension & alignment please? Any step-by-step guides?

Newtons does not convert to lb/ft. Lb/ft is a measurement of torque, while newton is a measurement of force. 775 N converts to 174.23 lbf, which is pounds of force not torque.

I just ordered BUDS w/ Megatech license.

Is it OK to post a link to the vendor I bought from? I am having a bit of trouble connecting to my Spyder. The software runs fine, the green USB light is on, and it connects to the MPI-3 interface, but the CAN connection to my Spyder will not connect. I get the No module recognized error, and...

New Spyder sold with no factory warranty - is this right? What say you all?

Wow, that's a nasty and underhanded thing to do, especially if not disclosed to the buyer. :banghead::cus:

2011 Rear Wheel Static Balance - do it with hub & sprocket fitted, or without?

Thanks Peter, I have the machine tools to make whatever adapters I may need. Knowing the general configuration of what's out there would make the design process easier.

2011 Rear Wheel Static Balance - do it with hub & sprocket fitted, or without?

I'd love to see some pics of your setup for balancing the rear wheel. I have machine tools to make whatever I need, but would like an idea of what's being used currently.
