• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone have experience with Ultra1 Plus 15W50 oil for their 1330? Opinions?

I had my fist ride with the oil pressure gauge today. I find it odd that with the current oil (I assume it's the SPX 5w40, since the previous owner said he had it serviced at the dealer), the pressure never got near the 58psi bypass pressure. At cold startup, around 72 deg this morning, it had...

Anyone have experience with Ultra1 Plus 15W50 oil for their 1330? Opinions?

Thanks Carbonation, I agree with you on the wide spread oils. They're basically thin oils that are propped up with polymers. I've always tended to run somewhat thicker oils than the manufacturers recommend. My daily driver Ford Focus has over 340,000 miles with no internal problems and no...

Anyone have experience with Ultra1 Plus 15W50 oil for their 1330? Opinions?

You kind of answered your own question. Multiweight oils have added long-chain polymers that help thicken the oil at high temps. Motorcycles are particularly hard on those oils, as the transmission shears those polymers down and the oil reverts toward it's base oil weight. I'll probably stick...

Is a 2015 F3-S Rear wheel the same as 2015 RT?

Some of us like stuff that's a little bit dangerous. LOL I have 2 cars that are in the 4 pound/HP range. No traction control or stability control on either. They're lots of fun, but I certainly wouldn't let just anyone drive them. I drove a friends 1,200 HP GTR. That thing was a beast, but...

Are there any Bluetooth Tuners available for Spyders?

Did you end up working with Fuel Moto? I'm thinking of getting a PV4 for my F3S. Thanks

Any opinions on Monster Stage 2 vs Power Vision 3?

Thanks Troop, I looked at Fuel Moto's site. They don't list the PV4 on their site, but I sent them a message to see if they plan to carry it. It looks to be what I'm looking for.

Anyone have Dynojet Power Vision results for comparison?

Considering ordering the Power Vision 4, app based tuner. I sent some questions to DynoJet, but wanted to ask if anyone here has used one.

Anyone have experience with Ultra1 Plus 15W50 oil for their 1330? Opinions?

Thanks for the input. I get that many people will stick with the manufacturers recommendation. I'm more interested in the brand and formulation than the weight. They offer it in 5w40 or 10w40 I'm sure. I'll decide on the weight based on oil temps and pressure, once I get my gauge installed...

Anyone have experience with Ultra1 Plus 15W50 oil for their 1330? Opinions?

Your username suggests you're in a cold climate. I want additional viscosity due to the temps that it runs in hot weather. I always ride easy until oil temps get up to normal.

Any opinions on Monster Stage 2 vs Power Vision 3?

Thanks. Glad you like it. I may want to do more mods in the future, where the Power Vision would let me tune as necessary. Just wondering about the whole package though.

Any opinions on Monster Stage 2 vs Power Vision 3?

Dynojet lists the PV3 for the 2015 as discontinued, but when I enter my model info, they suggest the 2016-2019 model. I'm trying to decide between this and the Monster Stage 2. Do either of these modify anything to do with the VSC nanny settings? I'd love to have a bit more control over how...

Any pros or cons to running cat bypass with original muffler?

As soon as I looked at that "baffle" I knew it wasn't going into my exhaust. That thing is nothing but a serious restriction, probably worse than the original cat. :banghead: As far as sound, it's noticeably louder, with an aggressive tone, but not obnoxiously loud. Performance wise, I...

Anyone have experience with Ultra1 Plus 15W50 oil for their 1330? Opinions?

I'm for a good oil for my new-to-me F3-S SM6. Has anyone used this oil? The specs look good, and it's a good price in the 12 liter case. https://www.amazon.com/Ultra1Plus-15W-50-Synthetic-Engine-Liter/dp/B09C2K7DP1/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8&th=1 Opinions and experience is welcome...

Speaking of balancing, what's the center hole diameter on the rear wheel? I have my own tire machines, but I'm wondering if my balancer shaft will fit through.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Installed the pre-muffler delete, and moved the pegs from position 5 to 4. I made up new linkages with aluminum hex and nylon lined heim joints. Now I can easily make fine adjustments to brake and shifter positions, and got rid of the slack in the original clevis joints. Took her for a short...

Here's some Tips on Lifting the RT!

Thanks Peter, I appreciate your concern, and I am quite careful about how I lift vehicles. I've had my lift since 2000, and I've had everything from 1100 pound race cars to an 8500 pound Ford Excursion on it. (It's a Magnum, rated for 10k.) I got the Spyder on the lift this evening. It did...

Here's some Tips on Lifting the RT!

I haven't seen anything about using an automotive 2-post lift to work under your Spyder. MY lift is tied up with my race car right now, but when I get a chance, I plan to see if I can manipulate the arms to reach some hard points underneath the Spyder. My back doesn't like getting up from a...

    Pre hibernation battery charge/maintainer options

I've been using these on all my equipment and collector vehicles for decades. They're very convenient, have a desulphator function that seems very effective, (I often get 10 years out of batteries), and Northern Tool puts them on sale regularly...

Anyone near Roanoke or Lynchburg, VA who has BUDS willing to help?

Hello, I'm a new owner of a 2015 F3-S, and I have a couple items I need to check out with BUDS. I'd also like to program a new key, as only one came with the bike. I'd rather not pay a dealer rate to do a simple check. Does anyone here have, or know of someone close to Roanoke or Lynchburg...
