• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is there some kind of fastening inside the front pulley cover on F3L?

No worries. That pushpin is missing on most. I’ve checked for red dust on hundreds of Spyders; found maybe 1 or 2. It’s really an assembly aid - holds the cover while the screws are installed.

having trouble getting rear brake pads in place

Sure: drop in the outboard pad. Make certain the flat spring in front is situated. Put the retaining pin in far enough to hold it there, while inserting the other pad. Get the pin through the inboard pad, ensure the flat spring is in position, and screw it in. Replace the retaining clip, line up...

Does the Steering rack have adjustments ~ 2015 RT ~ or some play in the Steering.

Should be tight. If you can, shine a strong light on the suspension components and see if anything is loose. Heim joints, , Pittman arm, ball joints, A arms…..any of those could come loose, and cause play. If you don’t feel qualified to inspect it, stop by a dealer. In thousands of jobs, any of...

Alignment tip worth reiterating - check your tire pressure!

Wooden fish, Your late model RTs are much better than older ones. We have done a couple of thousand, and even the late models frequently need an adjustment. Sometimes, they are spot on. You might have that, and because you are not fighting the handlebars, don’t see what the big deal is...

How can I remove park brake cable on 2012 RTS? Anyone had a brake cable melt?

Get 2 12mm open end wrenches. On the rear caliper, Loosen the jam nut until it is free. Remove cable from pulley. On the motor end, remove right mirror, wind deflector, upper body panel, and anything else in the way. With the end off the caliper, there is room to remove from the cable from the...

Any reason there's no Trailer hitch for 2022 RT's?

Welcome! Buy any used hitch. If the hitch axle won’t go thru the Spyder axle, buy threaded rod that will fit. Or, have a machine shop make you one. I have not seen this problem, but, since the hitch itself interchanges with all RT models, get a used one. Give me a call if you get stuck. Joe

How high do I need to lift my Spyder to the get rear wheel off?

Lift it high enough to roll the wheel out once it is free. Get high enough to put a double pedestal jack under the wheel. When it’s time to put it back on, the jack lifts the wheel, instead of lowering the bike. Remove the muffler to make it SO much easier! Give me a call if you need help. I do...
