• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Retain. You have a hand lever and a foot pedal, both activates all three wheel brakes.

    Ryker Hand Brake Now Available

With state of the art Brembo brakes, properly proportional to load and urgency, why? Two wheelers need separate controls to keep you from skidding or locking up a wheel. All high end motorcycles now have linked brakes. Why move backwards? I’m sure you remember spool front wheels, no front...

    Happy Veterans Day!

My pleasure! It was the greatest honor to have served this nation for 22 years. Interesting fact: only 7% of our nation’s citizens have ever served. Regardless of rank or branch or duty, those 7% wrote a check to America: up to, and including, my life, if necessary. For those who did serve...

    Ryker Hand Brake Now Available

For many, it is the only way that they can even ride! Hats off to ISCI! A full 25% of Spyder ryders are disabled in some way. This gives them the freedom to ride! Huge difference between want and need. ISCI offers a discount to those who are handicapped. How cool is that? WAY COOL!!! Thanks, Joe

OK now we got a plugged tire now what ?

Like Mac said; if the tire is worn, I’ll replace it. New or nearly new, patch from inside. I plugged one on a trip, and after the trip, it needed replacing, anyway. I go thru several sets a year, so replacing is not a big deal. Helps that I have a tire machine! Joe

After advice on cost for my 28K service?

That is a great price! I charge 75 an hour, and I know it would be 4-5 hours, easily. Tip heavy! I don’t think you are ready for plugs. The last set we did at 35,000 miles looked new! YMMV. Joe

What do you do when you have a flat tire on a ride?

I am a nail magnet! I have plugs, glue, a compressor, tools. I’ve done plugs in NV, TX, AZ, NC, OK, MO(parking lot at Spyderfest!), and others, I’m sure. Nothing to it. The worst one, on the rest area parking lot, where a cattle hauling truck was parked upwind! The odor was beyond magnificent...

2022 Ryker Rally modes - do they have Sport Mode & Rally Mode??

They do. I have one for the Florida display tour. The rally has eco and rally, the sport has eco and sport. Eco off is regular, then eco, then sport or rally. I’m sitting on it now. Mine are prototypes, so, YMMV! Joe

Air bag issue - anyone gone full manual? Info/instructions?

Larry, easy to do: Remove Tupperware. Follow the Schrader valve to a line. Disconnect it. Follow to next component. Disconnect it. When you get to the airbag, stop. Use Teflon tape, and connect the lines to each other so you have a Schrader valve on one end, and the airbag on the other. There...

Air bag issue - anyone gone full manual? Info/instructions?

Les uses a bicycle hand pump. Perfect for the job. A few strokes, and it’s right on! On the road we use an aerostich compressor.

Winter Storage - any problems if I remove the battery?

Yes, remove the battery. It will be fine. Put in neutral, parking brake off, chock wheels. Then remove battery, place in a heated area, place on a battery tender. Won’t hurt any of the electronics.
