• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Share your experiences with Performance shocks for 2023 RT's?

We had a chance to put 350 miles on the Spyder over the weekend both 2 up and solo. and happy with the new feel, but I have some concerns on whether or not the spring rates are correct. I'd love to get @Rednaxs60 in on this since he seems to be the only other technical suspension talk guy around...

I so wish would could have gotten stage 5's! We chose the RTL for the extra suspension travel, ground clearance, and storage space knowing we would be touring the back roads. Both of us have really become suspension snobs as I have gone through quite a few shock changes on the Jeeps/bikes over...

F3-S - does anyone know the correct size for Push-Pins?

Can't hurt to support the forum owners! I have these left over from my Can Am UTV days and have been using them up... $10.00 for 25 https://www.autozone.com/screws-pins-and-clips/rocker-panel-molding-clip/p/auveco-rocker-panel-molding-clip-17222/1324614_0_0

You might not benefit as much as we did with you being lighter? Brake dive and body roll on a stock bike would be much less for lighter riders, but the front ride on rougher roads was much improved by proper control. Elka might even set you up a lighter front spring than ours further improving...

Highly recommend! The lack of rear rebound control was the first thing I noted on the bike and I would think after upgrading the fronts, it would be highlighted even more so.

We got everything swapped last Friday and what a difference! You can tell from the time you step on the bike that the spring rates and damping are a quite bit firmer. First thing I noticed was the rear didn't squat and bounce when boarding, then the ride from there was MUCH improved as...

'23 S2S Limp Mode and More after 2 months storage - any ideas?

Not saying it's your problem, but many reports on the KTM 1190/1290's using Anti Gravity batteries having weird quirks and errors.......For this reason I just went back with a Yuasa YTZ battery as I didn't want issues. I have recently installed a Noco Battery in my Husky 701 with good luck, but...

So many complaints about the Spyders. Anyone with no problems?

2023 RT-L 7500 miles no mechanical problems... Just needed to adjust the rear latch.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Balanced the front tires and tightened all of the fender mounting hardware... I can't feel the shake from my bike, but I noticed a little bit of a rattle from the front last trip when we used her bike to tour around small towns. Was also a bit disappointed that they only static balance the...

The air bag is a completely separate system as I understand it, but it's been a bit since I really looked at it? The bag just inflates as loads are added to level the rear, so why couldn't you have both?

What do you think of the 'New for 2025 - Spyder Canyon'?

The more we ride and run out if paved roads to explore, the more my wife is realizing the RTL is limiting opportunities. I could see a Red Rock in the future assuming it could be made comfortable enough.

After almost 5 months of jerking around with M2 and pulling the plug just before he announced shutting down, we can finally move forward! It only took 7 months from the start of this project, and now riding season is pretty much over... Elka came through and delivered ahead of schedule. The...

Have any of you added an Aux Tank to a 2020+ RT?

I've been collecting parts for the wife's RTL for the 3gal aux tank install, but I ran into a bit of a snag we had not thought through which became apparent on our last trip. I had initially planned to just mount the vertical tank to the left passenger footboard mount, since she never carries a...

M2 shocks closing doors in 2 weeks! Announced 1st week of Sept '24.

If you don't want to potentially clog up the internet with the wrong info, you are welcome to PM me. Sounds like quite a few people here have selected M2 and the positive feedback combined with discussions with Marcus is what led me to choose him over one of the other options to start with...

M2 shocks closing doors in 2 weeks! Announced 1st week of Sept '24.

Willing to share the part #'s? In my conversations with Marcus, he complained about all the leak problems he had with the Bilstein bearing head assemblies and had found something that would work much better. Not sure if that was truth or BS since he never delivered our shocks, but I could guess...

Thanks for your input! Are you riding stage 2's? Seems most go for stage 2's, and they are pretty easy to come by.

What are the Differences between '20+ F3 Limited and '20+ RT Limited???

I remember the things that stood out to me while I was trying to pick a bike for my wife was RTL had more ground clearance/wheel travel, larger luggage, better wind protection, foot boards instead of footpegs, and the air leveling. We do long days, sometimes multi days in the saddle over rougher...

Looking for info/advice from those who have RT Replacement Shocks...

Something I'd like to add in addition to Peter's great explanation of how the rear air assist system works... The rear spring rate (on the shock itself) should be selected to reach a goal of the correct ride height with the rider (maybe both riders if your bike always has a passenger) and all...

Yes, it looks/sounds like there will be quite a few of us that are going through the same thing. I too wanted to support a USA based business, sole proprietor, and fellow enthusiast. As Clover pointed out, he said he was working on the Harley shocks, but in a previous video from last week or...
