• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP Connect - d/load the app, plug in, then listen to your phone? Do you like it?

I was able to get connected via the cable in the glovebox. HOWEVER, whenever I got a call, email notification, or a text on the phone, the whole thing would disconnect and I had to stop driving to reboot the app and reconnect. So unless there is some sort of software upgrade on the bike the...

    Which Spyder - Tall Rider

I bought our 2021 F3 Limited last year. I'm 6'3" and was surprised to find that the F3 was quite comfortable, although I went to the dealer intending to by an RT. The most important upgrades for me, relative to my height (Among other accessories), were: - Ultimate F3 floorboard (I used stock...

F3L side bag/glove box not shutting/staying closed - any fix ideas?

Sometimes I've had trouble closing the rear side case on my F3L. I'm not sure why. Once I had something protruding that didn't quite fit. The other time, after wiggling and re-trying for about 10 minutes I got it shut. This latch seems a bit finicky at best.

Any opinions on using Rain X on your Spyder's Windshield?

Great idea. I'll have to try that. Hopefully it won't just miss me and hit my passenger in her face. ;)

Has anyone found & installed Brighter rear-facing lights on their F3L?

I was looking for a video or instructions on connecting additional lights on the rear of my F3L. But since I didn't find any, I'll ask here ... I see Lamonster has something called the "Tail Brighter LED for the F3-LTD, 2020+ RT Top Case". There it states that "Super easy install as all the...

Any opinions on using Rain X on your Spyder's Windshield?

I got in some light rain recently. My windshield had been nicely cleaned and waxed recently. This caused the water to nicely bead up, slide up the windshield, then HIT ME IN THE FACE. I wish there was a way to route these sliding raindrops over to the side.

Trunk Lid Dropping - any adjustment or fix?

I ordered this replacement strut and was able to install it yesterday. It fit my F3L just fine and does the job perfectly. Installation is not hard as long as you don't loose the U band. I lost it but the U-band off the original strut worked fine. (Someday I'll probably find it and wonder what...

I had a run in with BRP’s infamous Loctite x2

I did the same yesterday - mounted the F3 Ultimate floorboards on my 2021 F3 Limited. One side was tight. The other side was VERY VERY tight with plenty of the yellow stuff. I was quite concerned about possibly breaking the bolt. It would make a creaking sound when I did pull on the wrench very...

Are there any Can-Am Bluetooth Tutorials? Anyone willing to do one?

I learn a bit from each video. However it appears that the best thing to do, in my case, is not use BRP BT for much since we use BT headsets in our hemets. I can play music from my iphone via BT through the speakers and probably through helmet. But the issue that remains is the awkward helmet BT...

Are there any Can-Am Bluetooth Tutorials? Anyone willing to do one?

Thanks, I'll have another look. It seems to be the interactions between various BT systems and modules that usually get cofusing.

Are there any Can-Am Bluetooth Tutorials? Anyone willing to do one?

I have a 2021 F3 Limited. Bluetooth seems to be a buggy implementation or else I am not knowledgeable on BRP BT implementation. I'm wondering if there are any tutorials or experts willing to do a on-line seminar on Can-Am Bluetooth? What I need to know: Goals of BRP BT implementation (how...

Trunk Lid Dropping - any adjustment or fix?

"started with the addition of the rack" This was the case for me also. I need to look for a fix. I would think there would be a gas strut that could be added to solve this issue?

What bike did you ride to get your motorcycle license ??

My first bike was a Honda 100cc . But I lived in Kansas where, at that time, you didn't need a special motorcycle endorsement. Later in Ohio, I took the test on a Honda 450 with no problem since I had been riding for a few years. Of course, being in my early 20's it was probably easier than if...

Repairing some paint chips - what touch-up kits are there?

Never mind ... thanks. I found a color-matched kit at scratcheshappen.com that lists kits by year and color. I'll see how it works.

Repairing some paint chips - what touch-up kits are there?

I managed to get a few chips in the paint of my Glacial Blue F3L. Does anyone make a color matched touch-up kit. E.g. one of those little bottles with a self contained brush to cover up paint chips?

Dual horns - will the factory circuit support a 2nd horn?

I used a relay kit from Amazon to connect dual horns. I'm not sure it was necessary. But it seemed to be in doubt. This kit switches full power from the battery to the horns via a relay switch activated by the factory horn button circuit.

Any insights on removing the rear seat on an F3-T?

Any luck on your rear seat latch? For what it's worth, when I got a new seat, I had to move the latch thing from the old to the new seat base. I must have put it on too far/tight. To get the latch to let go, I had to be sitting down hard on the seat while someone turned the key. My weight took...

A front wheel WILL come off the ground (I found out this weekend)

Now that I know it can happen, I don't really have any intention to do pop up a wheel again, certainly not on purpose. Perhaps if it happens during an evasive maneuver, I will expect it and lean more in preparation? It's like when I was a teenage driver, many years ago, we would take our cars...
