• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Help Needed - Looking for 21 RTL "High Beam" Wire

I did not know that about the horn. Indian motorcycles do the same with the rear turn signals - the ground is flashed and the 12v+ is constant. This seems odd to me. In the event of a problem (horn gets ripped off) - you could end up with a constant 12v+ loose and shorting - makes no sense...

Help Needed - Looking for 21 RTL "High Beam" Wire

Hi Bert, The Denali Dial Dim wiring does all the work. Essentially, it is a gate (electronic relay) that controls each light independently. Here is what Denali says - "Our ground-breaking DialDim™ Lighting Controller features a multicolor halo dimming switch that allows you to independently...

Help Needed - Looking for 21 RTL "High Beam" Wire

Denali's are worth every penny I had the D7s on my Goldwing set to run at 50% on low beam and 100% on high beam. On my BMW R1200 GS, I had the same. In addition to 50% on Low/100% on high beam, on the BMW, they strobed with the horn. This is how I will run them on the RTL. I ordered the...

Help Needed - Looking for 21 RTL "High Beam" Wire

Thanks, that is exactly what I did (wire to a Show Chrome Fuse Block Isolator). The Denali Dial Dim controller features high beam, turn signal, and horn inputs to unlock intelligent flash features that can cancel your aux lights with your turn signal, flash your aux lights as a turn signal, or...

Help Needed - Looking for 21 RTL "High Beam" Wire

I am installing a pair of the new Denali D3s () on my 21 RTL. (To replace the existing Focus 3 1/2 inch driving lights - which aren't very bright). I am wiring them using the Denali Dial Dim lighting controller which will strobe the lights upon activation of the horn (east to get to) and run...

What's the one thing you think is Useless Junk on your Spyder?

Ignition key. Why oh why isn't it keyless? Please BRP, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Do what the big boys do on all their models! Better yet, do what the late model Goldwings do and unlock the cases automatically when the key is in range and lock them again when the key is out...

Looking for someone to install belt tensioner on 2021 RT

I wish you were closer, I'd be happy to help. I have a lift, and ramps to assist. It's not hard, just methodical taking the bits off. I have a 21 and asked my dealer to check to see if mine had one before ai took delivery. They said no, so I ordered one and took the bike apart to install it...

2020 - 22 RT Owners.. What do you think?

It seems more distracting than complimenting. Make it in Carbon Fiber look to give it more of a tone-on-tome subtle look and I might be interested. :)

Where is a good place to attach a Guardian bell? 2021 RT Ltd

I attached mine to the rear license place bottom screw opening with a tie-wrap. It jingles nicely and doesn't get in the way of anything. :)

Who is a former Goldwing rider?

I hated giving up 2 wheels. I've had a dozen or so bikes over the years most recently BMW GSs, my last a R1200GSA LC - best bike I have ever owned. It took me and my wife all over the east coast and Midwest on and off road. A simple slip and fall at a motorcycle event, coincidently, tore my...

Stuff for my new RT? Your input is needed.

Congratulations! I have done all you are thinking about and more. See in my sig below. The comfort heated seat is a nice option as is extra lights - the stock RT was pretty dismal compared to Goldwing or R1200 GSA. Please PM me if you want detail on any of them. I do all the work myself...

    Comfort Seat Worth it?

I rode with the sto9ck seat for a short while and after sitting on a Sea 2 Sky, decided on getting the BRP heated comfort seat (Same as the S2S except for stitching). Both my wife and I like it a lot. I do use the BRP backrest and like that as well. My wife and I both ride ATGATT and my back...

Have you installed Pedal Commander? Where did you mount it? Why?

This is exactly what I do - same setting, same experience. It's not faster, just normal. Can Am should do this from the start. I expect the silicone cover will provide all the protection I need, but just incase it rains, I keep a baggie and rubberband in the small front storage compartment...

Same experience here - it shouldn't be such a surprise when you get treated right - but, unfortunately, it is. Kudos to Lamonster :)

Need 12V + High Beam Switched Power

Hi Jim, I mounted a Show Chrome Electronic Isolation Fuse Block behind the pop-out grill area above the frunk. That gave me ignition-on power. I then used the Denali wiring to connect to the high beam switch and my horn so the lights go to full power on high beam and strobe with use of the...
