• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2022 RT w Floorboard lights needs a/mkt hwy pegs/boards - do they fit?

I have the OEM lighted floorboards (and love them). I also have SpyderExtras Adjustable Foot Rests / Highway Pegs for the Can-Am Spyder RT (Pair) (2020+) - and they work with extra spacers to offset the "deeper" floorboards with the factory lights added. Give SpyderExtras a shout and they...

ECM and 50.1 Dash Firmware Update - BRP Notification Info Needed?

I called my dealer and requested ECM and 50.1 Dash Firmware for my 2021 Spyder RTL and they couldn't find any thing on it. They asked if I had a Service Bulletin or any notification. Does anyone know of any communication from BRP that I could reference? Thanks!

Did I do a bad thing? Put my money down on a S2S!

Congrats! Many have said it will take 500 miles before you get comfortable on it. They were right for me. The seat was comfortable right away - and the ride in a straight line was great. The curves will throw you off - or at least make you feel that way for a bit. It will take time, but it...

    RT Limited dark vs chrome

For me it was black - buy the color that will make you smile when you walk away from it and turn back to look at it :)

Considering an Akrapovič Exhaust for my 2021 S2S - any comments?

I did a full titanium Remus exhaust on my BMW R1200GS Adventure. It required new engine management software to prevent the bike from running too lean. It required a new air cleaner to match the better exhaust flow. It was a ton of work (and money) for no noticeable HP gains. The bike sounded...

2020+ Front Lower LED Light comparison

I have the Slingmods light (on a switch) and a pair of Denali D3s with their Dual Dim controller which gives me dimming capability and the ability to run them at 50% during the day, at 100% with my high beams and they will strobe at 100% with my horn. They are very bright. The D3s are a combo...

Baja Ron bar or Cat delete for 2020 RTL?

I have done both. Definitely more bang-for-buck with the sway bar. I am hoping the cat delete will reduce heat when it gets really hot here, but time will have to tell. In terms of sound, there is no real difference. (I installed an RLS powder-coated pipe, so it is baffled). It fit...

Considering a New exhaust with just a bit more rumble - any suggestions?

FWIW, I did the RLS powder coated cat delete (easy install) and a Power Commander tune by Louis at Dynojet. 21 RTL runs great, isn't too loud, produces a bit less heat, lost a little weight and sounds enough different from stock to be cool but not so loud that you can't talk to a pillion :)

I am in NY, so far they do not test emissions on Bikes. so there should be no issue with inspection. :)

Sheepskin Seat Covers - Need Opinions and Advice

Hi All, I just ordered a full Misty Mountain Sheepskin Seat Cover for my 21 RTL. Testimonials are strong and I wanted to see if it made a difference. Full report after I get it this weekend. Who else has them (or something similar)? I have some specific questions - What is your opinion...

Installed RLS Cat Delete and Power Vision 3 Tune

Update - I took the bike out for 2 long rides this weekend. It just ran great! My wife did not notice any difference in sound (she has a Shoei Neotec II so, a pretty quiet helmet). It's really not louder, maybe lower. In terms of performance, I don't really notice a difference. But it is as...

Auxilary lighting for night driving - anyone tried Denali D2's?

I have used several Denalis (D7s and now D3s). They are very well made and the optics are best in class. Support is top notch. They are more expensive - but they do not compromise on any front. Extra lighting is important. What ever you choose. If Denalis are not in the picture right now...

Installed RLS Cat Delete and Power Vision 3 Tune

I installed RLS's Cat Delete this afternoon. I used a Harbor Freight Motorcycle Lift https://www.harborfreight.com/1500-lb-aluminum-atv-motorcycle-lift-63397.html - which does an awesome job. Great deal for $199! It easily balances the bike and gets the front and back wheels off the ground at...

Can someone tell me how to get Nav to work with or bypass BRP GO?

I tried to use BRP tools (with Sygic) - and found the screen size and resolution terrible and quirky. I installed a Zumo XT with Kradelock (to secure it) and am very happy. I also added Garmin's back up camera to my license plate holder and now I have a reverse camera and don't have to strain...

BajaRon got it right with his sway bar... no more bump steer!

Just installed mine. I took a 150-mile ride today with my wife, I don't know what magic is in it because it looks so similar (but beefier) to the stock bar, but it really improves the bike. It inspires more confidence, makes the ride more fun and adds to stability and handling. I am so glad I...

    I pulled the cord.

Welcome! You will love it! I added a WildAss seat cushion to my seat which raises me a bit and gives me a bit more leg room. I added the CanAm adjustable handlebar riser and like it. Be careful, my wife and I ride together most of the time. She got her license last year, now it's...

Passenger finds it too windy on the back of my RTL

I have used a MRA X-Creen Bolt-On Variable Windscreen Spoiler Blade on my last couple of bikes (BMW R1200 GSA and now a 21 RT-L https://twistedthrottle.com/product-category/body-and-fairing/windshields-accessories/windshield-extensions/?_sf_s=x-screen&post_type=product - it is very adjustable, I...
