• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My solution to 2021 ACS Compressor issues - a re-engineered custom anti-vibration bracket mounted in the RH Saddlebag!

The open compressor is not the only fly in the ointment! The dump valve is another key problem - it will get gummed up and stick open just enough to cause a slight leak and make the compressor work overtime! The non-limited bikes have the manual fill setup, with the same shock as you're running...

22 Spyder RT Brake issues - EBC Rotor larger than OEM & abnormal/uneven pad wear. Does any of this make sense?

Thats what I was trying to say, I don't think the old rotors are right! If you put the EBC rotor on your bike the brake caliper should slide down over and give you FULL coverage on the pad to rotor! Your old set up obviously didn't! Thats the only way you could get that kind of wear.

22 Spyder RT Brake issues - EBC Rotor larger than OEM & abnormal/uneven pad wear. Does any of this make sense?

Something is really looking odd in those pictures,, your pads look like there only making contact with half of your rotor. It's like the caliper isn't far enough over your rotor, or the rotors are too small. So, in your case yes, your new rotors should be larger than your old ones. I think the...

Any thoughts on Ground clearance on the RTL?

It's like anything - you see the clearance you have, and you have to judge your approach angle at times when you're coming on and off the road surface, potholes, humps, and things. Put a wheel on them, go around them, do whatever you've got to do without getting high centered or jamming your...

How much work is involved in replacing the brake switch?

The return spring on the older bikes would get weak as time went on; the fix for them was to go to the hardware store and get a stiffer spring, then find something under there to hook it up to so that it helped the pedal return back where it belongs. Had to do it to mine years ago, when I went...

How much work is involved in replacing the brake switch?

Is it sticking on? Can you shut it off by applying up pressure with your toe? If so, have you tried putting a tighter return spring on the arm?

F3 Base - Rear shock bottoms out (stationary) with my passenger onboard. I'm shock illiterate, what do I need in a shock?

Well, first thing is your bike should not be bottoming out! If it is there's a good chance your air bag needs air, it may have a leak somewhere. It may be as simple as finding and fixing your leak! No where on your post or your avatar do you tell us what year of a F3 your riding, so maybe some...

I bit the bullet and upgraded my 2023 Spyder RTL front suspension... Color me happy!

One word of advice, and I see this a lot in snowmobiling. Just because you feel more comfortable behind the wheel with all these new add on's, don't think that you're some autocross champion at a race! Ride your ride, but don't take it to the point where you are risking someone else in this...

Water depth for fording a river for Can Am Spyder Canyon

Well, no matter what they say, common sense has to be in there somewhere! If you have big rocks and boulders under there it's not a four-wheel drive! If it a hard gravel bottom and not going over your tires you may be OK, but it's your ride and remember your life jacket!! 🙃

Anyone know what is in the Air Damper "Kit"?

Absolutely, until you put the soap and water to it, I would not pull the trigger yet!! It could be anything line, fitting, or bag that would be the worst case out of all of the things, but until the test you don't know! If it's line or fittings you can get that stuff at any auto supply that has...

Educate me on the reliability of the Rykers

If it's built by man, it will fail and break down sooner or later! It comes with a warranty and hopefully the design failures will rear their ugly heads before it runs out! Anyone know what is in the Air Damper "Kit"?

Like Snowbelt said, and I am going to come right out and ask. Where is your leak? Did you put the soap to it to find the problem?
