• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

VSS, Check Engine, and Limp Mode lights keep reoccurring - any ideas/advice?

Next time it occurs, do not shut the bike off, just take it to the dealer. Once at the dealer, do not shut the bike off. Have them connect their laptop while the bike is running. Can a 2014 display the error codes? If so, take a picture of the codes for documentation. You can Google the error...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Moved everything out of the garage, swept it out, and rearranged it so both bikes and the snowblower can fit in the garage. Distance ridden 100 feet for the day.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Went for a leaf peeping and lunch ride. The leaves here are in S.E. Pennsylvania are just about at peak color. It was a bit chilly and I wore my mid weight gloves. First bike I've ridden where the grips are not wide enough. I could feel the down shift lever against my index finger. Total miles...

Do you use motorcycle parking spaces?

I park in car slots mostly. When I am out with my club I park where the group parks. Generally we park in the outlying spots and share spots making room for other vehicles. At motorcycle dealers I park in designated MC spots if they are wide enough. If there is limited space on "kickstand down"...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

We went for an early afternoon ride under a beautiful fall sky. There were big puffy clouds with gusting winds and a high temperature of 62 deg. F., (17 deg. C.). We visited Hopewell Furnace National Historical Site. It is a restored iron foundry north west of Philadelphia in Berks County. The...

Suspension air noise - does my '22 S2S have ACS? Or is this a fault?

As I understand it the purpose of the air ride suspension is to level out the bike under loads such as two riders vs one rider, or fully loaded with luggage or whatever. I believe the bike must be in gear for the system to work. Under heavy load it will add air to raise the rear end by running...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Today I installed a Voltmeter. Easy simple, no cutting or drilling. The wires fit through the speaker grill opening and were terminated in the extra ports of the Lamonster GPS Plug and Play Harness I installed earlier.

From a Google search C0064 appears to be related to the roll rate sensor and the comment is that the sensor is not within factory settings.

RT Ltd Suspension fault - does it have a Schrader valve? Where? Ideas?

If you don't know how to view the fault codes on the bike's display you should learn. When you get a warning pull over, do not shut off the bike, pull up the fault codes on the display and take a picture of them with your phone to show the service tech. Someone recently posted how to pull up the...

What add-on parts are best and necessary on 2023 RT Ltd?

We've had a RT Limted Sea To Sky since July and have ridden it weekly. The only mods we've made so far are a GPS mount, Quadlock phone mount (which doesn't get used much), a handlebar riser, and a wider brake pedal. Planned mods are a voltmeter, a rear trunk organizer, front fender sequential...

2022 RT with Limp Mode & VSS faults - any ideas?

I'm thinking batteries are getting an unjustified bad reputation. None of the problems I had were battery related. Suspension Fault - air vent valve and air compressor not working. The fix was to adjust ride height settings and calibrate sensors for one and two riders. Brake Failure Fault -...

2022 RT with Limp Mode & VSS faults - any ideas?

I contacted the dealer for clarification and they did not replace the battery last visit so I'm back to only 3 batteries since July 2023. The confusion was the new assistant service manager reused a copy of the previous service report to save time entering data. She did a poor job of it. In the...

2022 RT with Limp Mode & VSS faults - any ideas?

Yesterday I rode to my dealer to exchanged the loaner bike for my RTL. I delivered bike to the dealer with the VSS Fault(s) active: C006C, U0126, C0051, P0552. They reset steering angle sensor, lateral offset sensor, and the long offset sensor. The dealer took it for multiple test rides, none...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I took the loaner bike back to the dealer to exchange it for my bike that was in for service. I left before dawn to avoid some of the Philadelphia commuter traffic. I took the scenic route from my home to the dealer in central Pennsylvania. It was a very pretty ride once the sun came up. I rode...
