• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How can I access 2024 RT Limited Reverse light and indicator bulbs to swap for LED's?

Yeah I see what you mean. I did get mine out. I used a smaller T20 to wedge in under the lip to get the top screw out. Then I found two push buttons to release the bottom arms and got it out. The bulb is a 21 watt Osram 64136 and they are about $9 at my local Adavance Atuo parts.

How can I access 2024 RT Limited Reverse light and indicator bulbs to swap for LED's?

I am in that far now and see what you mean. It has been too cold to continue but I should get in there in the next day or so. They did not make this easy. I think there are two torx fasteners on either side that will allow that back sub panel to move out from under that lip and if so I can...

Apple CarPlay update - what is the secret to getting it working properly??

Here is the three pin connector. Looks like a small Brown and larger red and black. Does not look like coax.

Apple CarPlay update - what is the secret to getting it working properly??

I hear that but I have to wonder why there is a unterminated three pin connector over the top of my left rear tailight connector that was not there on 2023 and earlier models???

What did you do to your Spyder today?

UPDATED to correct my errors. Not so much that I did something to my Spyder today, but rather I learned something about how Can Am engineers design things. I recently bought my 2024 RTL and was preparing to set it up for hauling my Bushtec Turbo 2 (I have owned it for 16 years and put 60,000...

Another rider needed a jump start, which got me thinking... Here's my better way!

Check the size of the fuse, most likely it would blow on a jump start. It is 10 amps or less I'll bet.

Is there a way to put the dash into Accessories mode?

Just leave the key on and put a battery charger on the bike during the update. No need to start the engine, just roll the throttle froward and the dash will appear.

    2024 RTL vs. 2020 RTL

I discovered the last time I rode it the center display data cannot be changed while moving (other than to cycle the two option on each with the OK lever). I had to stop to switch to MPG/range from volts/water temp.

How can I access 2024 RT Limited Reverse light and indicator bulbs to swap for LED's?

I have not been in that far yet. I got my hitch kit last week from BRP and it was missing a harness so I had to send it back and order another one. It gets here Tuesday so I should be getting in there right after that and I will see what's there.

How can I access 2024 RT Limited Reverse light and indicator bulbs to swap for LED's?

Go to Sling Mods and look at the install video for the AfterBurner lights. That will show you how to get the side covers loose from the rear deck (except on the 2024 all the screws are T-25 and no plastic screw plugs). Once you have done that there are two tiny screws with a bolt type head on...

Installing Garmin Zumo R1 Radar - any suggestions on where to run the wire?

I would just run the wire along the top case and mount the radar at the base of the top case. It really does not need to be at the license plate. Double stick foam tape is your best bet for mounting.

2024 RT Trailer Hitch Harness on back-order - any work arounds?

FWIW I just recieved a hitch kit (supposedly for a 2024) and it did not have the right harness either. I did find a bulletin from BRP that said they knew about this in May and the solution was to order the other hitch kit (ending in 1295) as the harness would be in there. We will see as I just...

Where is the best spot for Jack placement?

I think they are very easy to remove, of course I don't use the supplied locks. First off why would anyone steal them and second if they know what they are they know they can't use them.

Here's my Mono wheel trailer & hitch!

I think you overdid it when you re-sized your picture. It is too small for us to see it in anything but a blur. Try it again and shoot for about 300 KB or 50 % of the original size

PLEASE ATTACH ALL PICTURES/IMAGES AS THUMBNAILS!

I use a windows machine and click on "open with" and choose Microsoft Office Picture Manager. It allows you to set a percentage on the size of the original. You can also use the stock MS picture viewer and click on the three dots and a drop down gives you the option to resize the picture.

Washed 2024 RTL, engine light on, no start

FWIW I washed mine (same as yours) for the first time yesterday and got everything good and wet, no problem starting it after I dried it with a blower and chamois. Did you use a pressure washer or hand wash?

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Yesterday I finally broke 200 miles on my new RTL (it has been really wet and cold). For a guy coming off of 50 years of two wheel driving I am getting quite used to the realm of three wheels and look forward to many more miles in the saddle. Today I installed the FOBO Bike 2 for Trikes...
