• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone removed the Rear Trunk on 2020 RTL & replaced with panel? Miss the storage?

I just had my flat panel on for a few days. I like it. Since I have the BRP arm rests on, I just remove them. One bolt per side, easy peasy. Bruce

New member with 2012 RT & Code P1174 - any ideas?

I got that code a lot with my 2011. Mine was caused by the purge vale sticking. You stated that yours had the evap cannister removed. Make sure the purge valve is still attached and plugged. If purge valve removed it will generate that fault. The other possible cause is a bad O2 sensor on the...

998cc 2010 RTS - unexplained quitting fixed & some Engine mods.

Great write up. On my 2011 I learned early on to clean the butterfly valves every spring. For the same reasons as OP found out. Since mine was a Manual tranny, I left my oil level on the low side, this helped the amount of oil residue in the air box. Bruce

Parking brake stuck and engine won't turn over - any ideas??

I did not see anyone mention the parking brake switch. This is located on the right side of the bike. The wheel that controls the parking brake cable hits a micro switch. This controls the light display on the dash. So you could remove switch and control it manually. This probably wont...

2011 RTS Needs Formed Air Intake P/n #707800307 (it has been discontinued) - Anyone?

Auto parts store. Ask for flex hose. They may carry it. In my job we use flex hose for connecting blowers to steel tube systems. Good luck. Bruce

Why do I need to hold the Fog Light switch to keep them on?

On my 2011 RTS the fog lights stayed on whether the high beams or low beams are on. If you have to hold down the button, I would say you have a bad button. Bruce
