• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any chart/pics to show where Oil change O rings need to go?

I have the XPS kit and I'm about to use it in my first Spyder oil change. I have less than 1k miles on my new 2023 F3 but since the oil has been in there for at least two years, I'm changing it. I see that the O-rings and gaskets are all color coded. But where's the legend that tells which...

After hearing so much hoopla, I finally tried Buc-ee's! Never Again!

Not 100% but I'm fairly certain that the all the empty cars that were in my immediate vicinity, were not all empty because the printer at the pump didn't spit out their receipts.

After hearing so much hoopla, I finally tried Buc-ee's! Never Again!

Perhaps you totally missed the point of my post/rant? It's not that I had such an issue with getting to the pumps with my motorhome/trailer. It's the total lack of any consideration for the other people who are not star struck by Buc-ee's and are just trying to get gas. Got it now? It won't...

Common courtesy and common sense, both have gone the way of the Dodo bird.

After hearing so much hoopla, I finally tried Buc-ee's! Never Again!

Nope, I did not miss such a sign because there wasn't one. I looked on the way in and on the way out, nothing of the sort.

Would you try Taking Spyder through a car wash?

No way!!! The high pressure is not good, and neither are the harsh chemicals used in car washes. Rinsing with water only is ok, in the manual bay. Care has to be taken with the pressure wand though.

After hearing so much hoopla, I finally tried Buc-ee's! Never Again!

After hearing so much hoopla about Buc-ee's, we decided to stop there and fuel up on our way back from New Mexico. Plus, Gas Buddy informed me that they had the least expensive gas in the area, with a 57-gallon tank to fill, every little bit helps. So, I'm driving our motorhome, with the Spyder...

Rear axle nut cover fell off - doesn't 'snap' on! Anyone lost one?

I was trailering my F3 back from a vacation in New Mexico. As I was unloading it at home, I saw something strange on the floor of the trailer. I picked it up and scratched my head for a moment. Looking at the rear axle I found where it came from. The cover for the left rear axle nut had...

Anyone else notice the excessive amount of throttle twist/rotation required??

I'm sorry but you're wrong. "A circle has 360 degrees, regardless of its size. If you have to turn it 1/2 the way (for example) for full throttle, that's 180 degrees of twist, regardless of how big the circle is." To illustrate, take the size of the circle to the extreme. Imagine that the...

A different look at setting the correct tire pressure

What this has to do with the Spyder, I have no idea. Are you suggesting that BRP implement a system such as this on the Spyder? BRP? The company that can't supply an OEM TPMS on a $25k+ bike?

Anyone else notice the excessive amount of throttle twist/rotation required??

Is your hand not on the outside of the grip, otherwise known as the circumference?

Anyone else notice the excessive amount of throttle twist/rotation required??

The larger the outside diameter the more twist is required. The amount may be negligible, but more will be needed to get the same result.

Anyone else notice the excessive amount of throttle twist/rotation required??

I'm with you on this and I certainly have noticed! I always have to reposition my hand on the throttle because of this. As you mentioned, my other bike, the one with two wheels, has had the throttle tube cam changed out so that not so much twist is required for full throttle. With drive by...

What is the Actual USB Connector Voltage?

Most likely, a simple voltage bridge circuit is used. Why would BRP indicate the 5vdc in the USB circuit? The 5vdc is implied, no need to show it. If that circuit was suppling 12vdc, there would be a LOT of unhappy cellphone users, me included because it would most likely fry the phone...

    How's your gas mileage???

35.7 at last fill-up. That's mostly highway miles with ECO turned off.
