• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ryker vs RSS - What's your opinion?

If it were not an issue of fitting your budget or availability, what Spyder would you be looking at? Also, you haven't mentioned any preferences from her of any kind -- does she really want one?

    New Three Wheeled Electric Roadster..

Their base electric vehicle is 18K, which is not expensive for electrical, and who knows, it may drop if they can build up volume. A used RT can cost the same, and plenty of people buy those and ride them 100 miles a month.

    New Three Wheeled Electric Roadster..

I tend to think that their primary vehicle can make a great deal of sense, it's their version of a roadster that feels like and afterthought and doesn't really fit very well. Given that they are just starting up, they may be in a much better position to enter the roadster market in a few years...

    New Three Wheeled Electric Roadster..

A few notes. Any association with Corbin would steer me away, they just have too many fit and finish problems and major customer service issues. The design leaves a lot to be desired. It makes more sense in the standard configuration, but it needs to changed up for a roadster. Very short...

Where did you put your Pedal Commander on your 2020 RT?

My phone is the only thing I mount on my bike, so that makes sense for the way you ride. Now I can "imagine" a reason to mount it.

Where did you put your Pedal Commander on your 2020 RT?

It probably shouldn't be changed while you are on/using your throttle. The bike can certainly be running, otherwise, I don't think there is power to the unit at all.

Where did you put your Pedal Commander on your 2020 RT?

I mounted it on my 2020 RT-L to the left of where it plugs in (by the brake fluid) and can't imagine a reason why I need physical access or want to clutter up my dash when it so easily works through an app on my phone (unless you like having a lot of stuff on your dash). It really doesn't take...

    Parking Brake will not Disengage

My break locked up on my 2014 RT around 50K miles. My mechanic told me how to disengage it manually (with tools), and I was able to ride it (and park it, usually with a rock behind or in front of a wheel) until I took it in. Not entirely on point, but worth mentioning.

Hey Arizona, how do you deal with the heat?

Sorry, the Shoei fits me very well, and I haven't tried on the current version of the Shark in my size. If you get a chance to go to a motorcycle show, it can be a great place to try on just about every helmet out there. That said, I don't know how their new outdoor format may change that...

It sounds like you have a great vest, which one did you go with?

Hey Arizona, how do you deal with the heat?

Since I almost always ride with the screen up, it's fine for the way I ride. A 3/4, of course, let's in much more air, but they also provide zero jaw protection, and I like my teeth. My wife just got a Shark modular (much like the Neotech) and it is lighter and has some great design choices...

Hey Arizona, how do you deal with the heat?

Oh, and I ride with the clear screen on my Shoei Neotech 2 up, and with a very form fitting pair of glasses over my eyes. That way the wind is in my face, but my eyes don't dry out. In the dry heat, you can be reasonably comfortable in the 90's with my setup. Also keep lots of water on hand...

Hey Arizona, how do you deal with the heat?

Without any doubt, the most important temperature change I made was to purchase the BRP short windshield and add an X-Creen like this one: https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/mra-x-creen-tour-variable-windscreen-spoiler-blade You can adjust it on the fly to push the air right into your face on a...

    Helmet Advice

I've got a Sena in my Shoei Neotech, and to be honest my far less expensive uClear (the base model is just $100, and you can move from helmet to helmet) is just as good and the service is much better. I love my Neotech, but my wife's Shark (alto a modular) may be even better. Getting something...

Why no built in GPS on 2020RT?

I think it's and either/or proposition on GPS vs BRP Connect. Any specific built in GPS would likely become obsolete over time, which is why the idea of including multiple GPS options, including Rever is such a great idea. The problem is that BRP Connect just doesn't work in any reasonable...

    BRP BUDS Black Friday Sale

3ntune, if you get the runaround, consider submitting a dispute with your credit card company. If they are not honoring their own return policy, it ought to be relatively easy to get the charge reversed. Just as note, I would suggest never using PayPal, as they have a far more restrictive...

Windshield question - why return to lowest position when turned off?

I have a guess on that. Motors and other parts that don't get much or any use can fail over time, and I think that this particular motor may fall right in that category. By running it automatically, it may keep it from failing for that reason. Ironically, being that I mostly keep it all the...

Any pics of/comments on Lamonster Garage Handlebar Risers on RT 2020?

I have one, and like the brake extender(?) it feels completely factory. At 5'5" as well, I have the stock bars from the RT turned "down" as far as possible, but I do feel as though I am turning my wrists more than I would like to, although otherwise the position is just right. Being a...
