• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Your Weather News @ APRIL 2025 Edition

My thoughts on Arizona vs Indiana heat. I grew up in S. California, and spent a lot of time in the desert near Joshua Tree and 29 Palms, which is North of Palm Springs. In the Summer, temps are regularly above 100 F, especially in July and August due to the Santa Ana wind conditions...

Is Running Diesel Oil in Your Spyder such a good idea?

I have a 2023 Honda Ridgeline with Honda's "Maintenance Minder" system built into the computer. When something is due to be done, it displays a message, which you can then have it display codes identifying what needs to be done. The Owners Manual Maintenance Minder section says that if it...

Anyone tried using the 10.25" touchscreen to show TPMS from FOBO2?

According to the FOBO 2 website, it uses Bluetooth 5.0 and works with Android 8.0 and later. https://my-fobo.com/product-family/FOBO_Bike_2 You won't get it on the Spyder's display, though, since the display only does Apple Carplay.

Anyone tried using the 10.25" touchscreen to show TPMS from FOBO2?

I agree that Apple does control what shows up, but they do so by publishing information for app developers about what is required in order for their app to show up. It's still the responsibility of the app developer to ensure that their app meets the requirements set by Apple.

Did the 2024 F3T's come with stock LED Headlights? Is there a High beam indicator on the dash?

I downloaded a copy of the 2024 F3 Operators guide. Page 164 has a section on Headlight Bulb Replacement. The headlights and front turn signal bulbs are LEDs. The top of Page 30 shows two different icons indicating when the headlights are turned on, so yes it has a low and high beam indicator.

Is there any factory installed Navigation on a 2024 F3T?

Before Can Am published the update that enabled Apple Carplay, I was running a Zumo XT mounted to my handlebars using an Arkon mount. It was powered by this adapter from Lamonster, which was connected to the accessory power port behind the panel next to the right front wheel...

There are also 24v solar battery chargers. Oh, and Google also found a few 36v solar battery chargers. But that's now a moot point, because when I delved more into the Kawasaki Corleo world I discovered that it's apparently Hydrogen powered...

    Don't look at your investments!!!

Most of my retirement money is in plans I can't touch for another 6 years, so there's plenty of time to recover from the current nonsense. I own my home, my 4 wheel vehicle, and my Spyder with no loans. Other than day to day living expenses, the only real expense I have is the annual property...
