• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Insurance renewal rescinded (Australia)

I'm with State Farm for my Spyder, my truck, and my home insurance policies. The only issue I had was when I went to get coverage for my Spyder was they had trouble with finding it in their database. The problem was they searched for "canam" without the hyphen. Once we resolved the hyphen issue...

Can the USB 2.0 port on my 2024 S2S be Upgraded to USB 3.0 and higher?

The simple answer to the upgrade question is No. The physical USB 2.0 port on your Spyder isn't what controls the transfer speed. The port has to be connected to a USB controller somewhere on the bike, and the controller is what controls the transfer speed. As far as compatibility, USB 4 is...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I remembered that I took some pictures of my Spyder on the Stinger trailer before leaving the house. When I edited the pictures I realized I took them before I folded up the loading ramp. :( And this link takes you to the Stinger website for the trailer I bought. Their first picture shows a...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Just got back from dropping off my Spyder at the dealer. I had a nice chat with the people in the service department, and they said it should be ready on Tuesday. Tuesday is a bit of a long time for a 12 month service, but they aren't open on Sunday or Monday... so Tuesday it is. The drive...

What is the Actual USB Connector Voltage?

A couple of things that are confusing to me. The USB cable in the gloves box allows for data communication between an iPhone and the CAN-AM Carplay implementation for the display, and provides USB 2.0 power to keep your iPhone charged. The accessory power port I tapped into only provides power...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Unfolded my Stinger CAN-AM trailer, hooked it to my Honda Ridgeline, and moved it to the bottom of my driveway. Time to shower and get dressed, then load the Spyder onto the trailer and strap it down, and then off to the dealer to drop it off for service. My house sits on the top of a hill, and...

What is the Actual USB Connector Voltage?

I'm not sure what you mean by a "splitter"? Do you mean something like a "Y" cable? And where do you see a capped off port? I'm only aware of the three USB ports that came from the factory on my 2024 Spyder. All of them are Type A connectors. The one in the glove box in front of the handlebars...

    Random thought for the day

My Dad told the exact same story! He grew up in Iowa, so I can believe the snow part of the story. The problem is, that while the very small town where he grew up does have some small hills, the "both ways" part isn't believable.

Trying to pre-plan custom decals - anyone have these measurements for a 2024 RT Ltd?

My pleasure, and we'll want to see pictures of your new ride, once she's all decked out, of course. 🇺🇸 I'm sure there may be some potential buyers who will frown and walk away from it, and also some who will be drawn to it. And I'm sure they'll bump the price for all of the "custom art work"...

Trying to pre-plan custom decals - anyone have these measurements for a 2024 RT Ltd?

Okay, I've got pictures of the various panels and am about to go take measurements to go with each of the pictures. Since the panels are all odd shapes, the sizes are going to need descriptions. I was going to attach the pictures in a .ZIP file, but it says the ZIP file is too large. Let me try...

How do I go about Changing radio channels and storing presets on a 2024 F3T?

Uh... yeah... hmmm... There is a Radio Applet, which is where you configure the station presets. And then it gets very vague and confusing. Everything is done using the left hand controls. First, look at the Audio Controls in your Operators Guide. One is volume up/down. The other is the...

Trying to pre-plan custom decals - anyone have these measurements for a 2024 RT Ltd?

I have a 2024 Spyder RT Sea2Sky, which I believe is physically the same. I'll be glad to take measurements, although I don't think it's going to be as simple as you think. I'm going to attach a picture of mine, which is a 2024 Vegas White Satin Sea2Sky. You can see that the saddle bags are...
