• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    11/14: 62 degrees, cloudy and a chance of more rain. The heavy stuff we got a few days ago sure messed up the dirt roads out back. I had to be real careful with the Kawi Mule yesterday when I went for a ride.

    That brings back some fond memories for me. Every year, when I lived in MN or WI we would take a journey to the Black Hills of SD. It always included going through SW Minnesota. A big change in landscape from the hills and valleys of Northern MN and Northern WI. And then, the 300 plus miles...

    That is a good one. :yes: I had one of those flat tire dogs as a family pet. She got fired from the team early on. They were happy to give her to me for free. Foxy girl lasted another 13 years. I still have her ashes.

    The Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It's a whole different place...The residents there are referred to as the Da Yoopers. :yes: Did you ever hear of Weird Al Yankovick? He was a crazy polka band leader. He did many, many, weird songs. He lived there and claimed to be a spokesman for the UP.

    Update: we now have tornado watch in our area until 9:00 PM. There is a current tornado warning going on two counties to our west. Seems a bit late for this type of weather. :dontknow:

    In our area it has been cooler and currently rain, rain, and rain. 63 degrees currently. We had thunderstorms that lasted all night long with deluges of rain. Most of the time they come and go within a half hour. Not this go around. :yes:
