• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Your Weather News @ February Edition 2025

Today is a weather alert day for our area. We are supposed to get 12" of snow by morning. If it happens, that will be the most snow at one time since we moved here in 2019. The snow has slowed down and we have about 4" on the hot tub cover now. The main snow pattern has petered out...

18 degrees above today but wind chill makes it feel like zero. Upside, we don't have anything to shovel away.

    I am now Spyderless

I also know that feeling. Almost two years down the line I have resisted the urge to "go back." I still have all my riding gear and helmets. :coffee:

Feedback on the new Forum Format?

I am also still getting the above message. Can get no help to remove it or get it corrected. I have thrown in the towel on this one and it always boots up after hitting the "what's new" button.

Seems like Puxatawny Phil was right. Since the 67 degree day we have had edgy weather. It has a cold feel to it. Reminds me of Alaska at times. (y)

Where did all the Ride Reports go?

the search function is the same as the previous one. Put rides or Spyder rides into the search. The content from the old system carried over to the new system I still have 10 year old posts showing if I want to look them up. Here is a link to the actual thread...

Please set up a forum area for Canyon models

We drove Spyders in Alaska from 2008 until we moved in 2019. We started with GS and RS then moved on to RT's. We bought F3's when we moved to Arkansas. I did NO off roading the whole time I was there. Yes, I know people who did some of it on Spyders, but in most cases the results were...

Please set up a forum area for Canyon models

As a former Alaskan (20 years) I do not see the Canyon as a viable off road machine. There are some nasty off road areas there and one is just asking to get stuck. I can already hear the tow truck company, "Your stuck where?" Based on what I have seen so far, they would be good for a lot of...
