• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Are the stock cables long enough when installing short reach bars?

    Yes they are. You may need to undo a zip tie or two though. On my 2018 F3L I didn't have to do anything other than a straight swap out. Made all the difference in the world for my riding comfort.

    Anyone here like planning their own routes?

    I use a Garmin XT on the Spyder. I plan all of my trips using Garmin's Base Camp. I even plan trips I am familiar with as it shows useful info on what's ahead (gas, food, etc.) I download directly onto the XT. This seems to work the best for me.

    We have an Ultimate on ours. We are happy with both the comfort and the appearance. The only thing about the Ultimate that I don't like is that it raised me up about an inch.

    where I really appreciate the improved throttle response is for passing cars out on the highway. Arizona has a lot of up and down riding and finding a spot to pass a slow moving vehicle is not always easy. Having a quicker throttle response certainly helps.

    When going around a left turn you would be looking to both finesse the brake and brace with the right foot at the same time. Not easy. This is why a handbrake would still be a nice thing to have on a Spyder.

    UTICAT - I use wired buds to my Sena 20S Which ones. I have tried a couple and they are a little uncomfortable. Probably doesn't help that I also wear glasses. Thx
